If I recall, I believe Tsukishima's wound that he got from Ichigo was much more severe in the manga than here in the anime. I believe Ichigo cut off his arm. My memory's hazy, though, as I read this a long time ago. Ok, I just checked, and Ichigo did cut off Tsukishima's left arm in the manga. Yeah, that Ginjo reveal is so good! It's easy to trick people when you don't know you're tricking them. Tsukishima's bookmark being his fullbring ability is very apt. I liken it to him turning his own essence into a bookmark and sliding it into the pages of the book of someone's life. And he can make multiple bookmarks for the same person, so he's not just affecting one memory. He's affecting a person's entire life. Btw, Ginjo wasn't lying when he said that Tsukishima's book of the end can cut practically anything. He can use it to injure someone/something, insert his presence into their lives, or both. That's what's so dangerous about his ability. You don't know which aspect of his ability he'll use.

There’s a power rangers-like anime but it’s from the perspective of the villains it’s soo good

[Tidbits] - Episode 359 truly shows Ichigo is losing his self, but this time not to a hollow but rather to the darker side of his humanity. For the first time (With a very villainous expression) he sought to kill the enemy, whereas in the past his goal has always been to protect people from the enemy. (Another cool thing is that when Ginjo seeks confirmation on whether Ichigo would kill, Ichigo's answer is cut short...The manga in particular does a very good job at depicting Ichigo with the "wanting to kill" expressions.) - As we learned here Tsukishima ability is to actually alters a targets past with his presence. This is seemingly done on purpose, Aizen was the 1st Major Antagonists, and his goal was to change the status-quo, otherwise the "Present", Tsukishima was the primary Antagonists for most of this arc and he changes the "Past". Keep that in mind. - Kubo plays with the audience so well when it comes to Ishida, much like Ichigo in that moment we don't know who to trust. Ichigo has been stripped and alienated from his allies, forcing him to turn his blade against those he picked up the sword to protect. Remember Ginjo initially approached by making Ichigo doubt those around him like his Dad and Urahara. - Also Tsukishima's arm is 100% chopped off in the manga. It was actually an in-fandom joke back when the manga was running that Kubo had a fetish for cutting off arms.

Well Tsukishima did cut Ishida now, its just he can choose to use his ability or just sword And if you remember when training with Ginjo ichigo felt strange from him, he could not 'read his soul', Ichigo only started trusting Ginjo only recently and was right that initially was very sus about Ginjo

The rewatch goes crazy. The foreshadowing is so good! This is why this arc is peak even tho its a bit slow in the middle. So well written and structured from the start of the arc. Can't wait for the rest of the arc, it's a top 3 Bleach arc imo.

If you guys think Kubo/Bleach has amazing Twists, reveals and all that, you just wait. its not hyperbole when i say TYBW is legit one of, if not THEE greatest war arc in anime. its on a whole different level in terms of script, animation, twists, everything. its in a league of its own. 2/2 - That Ginjo standing behind Ichigo moment is a jump scare lol I remember the first time I saw it when it first aired I jumped back and spilled some of my cereal all over my desk and was in AWE the whole time, mouth open, chills all over LOL EDIT - We should get 2 triple drops next week to finish the arc and start fresh the week after with TYBW :). ALSO, there is a live action BLEACH that you can watch, its of early BLEACH and its actually really well done, way better than the one piece live action imo. actually well done.

About the triple drops, I think you're gonna be fine. Bleach TYBW has an AMAZING pace, so I feel like you're gonna watch the episodes in a better "mood" than OG Bleach. Bleach TYWB is a phenomenon, really. It's peak after peak. You'll always want more, and every episode will push you to the edge.

This plot twist is toooo goooddd💯

I feel like all it takes for his spell to not make sense is for two people who are affected to just communicate to each other who Tsukishima is to them. Like if he's an brother to Orihime and a classmate to Chad then it would be impossible to be both due to age, but because nobody ever describes Tsukishima's relationship to them outloud it just gets gloss over as "good vibes". Another major plothole for this scheme to work at all is for Uryu to just ask Orihime to fix his injuries from the very beginning instead of waiting all this time in the hospital, only to be too late to tell Ichigo that Ginjo was the man who cut him in the first place. But for the sake of tension it was a cool scene for Ginjo to be cut twice in order to be conscious of what his true feelings where, now I'm even more confuse as to what the rest of the X-cution crew "woke up to" because they weren't even cut when it suddenly happened. It's really hard to like Bleach but I have to respect what the writer was attempting to do with this, it just seems like a very blatant plot hole for me watching this for the first time. Idk maybe someone can explain this better to me

When I watched this for the first time, I was so shocked and sad because of the Ginjo reveal. He kinda was like a big brother to Ichigo, and I think that's exactly what Ichigo needed at the time. Ichigo was always the protector, the big brother who took care of everything. And during that time, Ichigo really needed a big brother himself, someone who looks after him. And I think, deep down, Ichigo had also started to see Ginjo as a big brother and someone he could trust, which makes his betrayal even worse

And i feel yall are overthinking his power to the point where you are confusing yourself n eachother . He wasn't really there in the past like soul society arc or the ichigo n aizen fight. He makes them think they were there bc of his powers. As the explanation says he controls memories of ppls past memories

Ron made a really good point I didn't realize about how Ishida was injured, and therefor the sword that cut him was not the one that affected memories. Yea the ginjo reveal shocked me my first watch. I did notice that Uryu was the only one with physical injuries but I thought it was just a part of the plan.

I absolutely loved Tsukishima and Ginjo in this arc

NGL this arc really felt like the author wanted to write murder mystery and had Ginjo face/plot twist from the beginning. And wrote the whole arc to fit what he wanted and have somehow make ichigo grow from this. I still think most of fullbring is still the weakest part of Bleach. I dont like the fullbring cast that much. The only I liked was Ginjo/Tsuki mind fuck mostly at the end. I really like Kubo taking a break from Soul Society stuff to have fun writing arc that is important in its own way. (Ichigo realizing why he becomes strong). The cool part is you can predict this. Author left hints (Tsuki never making someone bleed, Ichigo/Ginjo fight where Ginjo eye or smth made ichigo feel off about him, Ginjo not thinking that Yukio would track the, some other things). NGL I personally predicted it, but not really based on hint except Uryu wound. But the biggest thing for me was I watched this after TYBW came out and I didn't see ginjo on the promotional for it. So I had a feeling. Plus if a twist is not predictable at all, then its not a good twist. Its a good twist because its hard to predict but its predictable if you notice the hints. For example, you can predict Reiner/Bert twist based on some weird gap in logic/reasoning in earlier arcs.

That was a hell of a plot twist at the end with Ginjo. Michelle's reaction was insane lmao yeah definitely horror vibes. Its like a scary movie with all the mystery. Also it's funny that Michelle mentioned Ichigo's outfit looks like a power ranger. Ichigo's English voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch has voiced some of the power rangers

so Ginjo is saying its not disruption of memory. Because that would mean they would only see memory differently. Its more like he can change their whole perception of the past. Meaning he make them feel different along with see. Disruption of memory would mean he would make them see differently only. But honestly stuff like this is not too important. i doubt author really thought about it too hard. he just needed an excuse for this the scenario to happen. we don't know if ichigo beating up Tsuki would fix the memory of the people affected. NVM. the ginjo literally just said that. Haha ignore. the last paragraph

tbf if you werent doing jjk or demon slayer weekly when they come out. there would be a lot of triple drops. Those show are so good but have diabolical cliffhangers.

When you guys spoke at the end about the arc. What made this plot twist so special to me was we’ve already seen Ichigo go through so much throughout the arc. The plot twist made me really feel for ichigo.

Definitely one of the most underrated twists of all time, absolutely floored me when I watched it for the first time. The thought of "isn't Ginjo behind him?" to getting the rug completely pulled from under me was unreal. I do think this ep serves as a good stopping point but I recommended watching 361 also because I think it's great to go into that episode with the emotions of this one. But it's not a huge deal

Uryu’s memories is not affected.. Shu just regularly cut him and made him bleed. Not every cut from shu changes your memories he can choose between memory manipulation or regularly cutting them
