the thing about laughtale being mentioned during reverse mountain is not true. It was referred to as Raftel, the fact that it's actually called Laughtale was revealed in chapter 967, during the Wano arc. That's the most egregious thing season 2 did. On par with the Garp reveal during S1.

As for Zoro; closing his eyes at Nami in a bikini, getting jealous when Sanji isn’t giving him attention AND telling the assassins to buy him a drink first? The character is never beating the rumors 😂

With your opinion with the one liners. I get it but I would say they are trying to make it interesting for outside viewers and if anything they are trying to get people into one piece rather than target people who have watched it. With regards to the viewers who are watching one piece I think that’s where they’ve added the certain Easter eggs throughout the live action for us to spot and almost get hyped for future seasons of this. One thing to say is before timeskip zoro was abit more friendly and bantery compared to post timeskip so maybe that’s why they’ve given him one liners as well. Idk really know but that’s what I think but I get what you guys are saying as well

Refresher guys. Crocodile was looking for the Ancient Weapon Pluton and one of the Poneglyphs was in Alabasta. He knew the Poneglyph in Alabasta's Royal Tomb held information on the whereabouts of the ancient weapon. The 3 Ancient Weapons: Pluton(Blueprints were with the shipwrights of Water 7 passed down to Tom, then Franky, then Franky burned it), Poseidon(Princess Mermaid Shirahoshi) and Uranus.

Igaram didn't board their ship in the anime either. He disguises as Vivi and set sail on his own and then BOOM!!

I feel like the way you feel that way for Zoro's character was because you got introduced to One Piece via the Live Action S1 first. One of the biggest complain Zoro got from S1 LA by a lot of fans was that he was way too serious and felt like Post Time Skip Zoro. They definitely made him a little more goofy/"fun" in S2 after the feedbacks. As for the other Straw Hats being believable is a questionable take, since Usopp is a lot more obnoxious/loud in the anime than in LA. They also totally removed Sanji womaniser behavior. They have toned down all the over the top characteristics cause it feels a bit unrealistic for a Live Action.

1:03:20 crocodiles main goal was to get the ancient weapon pluton which he believed was in alabasta, thats why he wanted robin for the poneglyphs to find where it is and she ended up lying to crocodile and thats what made him stabbed her. hes doing all this to usurp the alabasta kingdom. he wanted military power

OP anime is such a blur for me since I kept dropping it even tho I’m in the 900s lol seriously I may need to watch yall anime reaction from the beginning bcuz I feel like I would enjoy it more. Y’all notice characters and I’m like who is that 😭

I feel like this live action Zoro is very close adaptation of the early one piece Zoro, not yet having had the big serious moments where the crew needs him to lock in and be the strong pillar of the crew that carries them all on his back He still have a lot of growing up and learning to do so he can still let his funny side prevail Let him grow into his strong and stoic side, let him have some character

My opinion but I think they've done a great job with Zoro and his one-liners. They actually are hitting for me on the comedic side. You probably don't remember but Zoro early in the show was shown to have a goofy side and they've tried to stay true to that. I respect the opinion though, I think I have a similar opinion but of Luffy at times but it's no fault to the actor, but just moreso the difficulty in portraying a character like luffy in live action.
