The thing with saying that pacing in one piece many times is horrible is because many people had to watch one piece at one point one episode a week, not the privilege way of having 500+ episode to watch, so it is a very annoying thing something with weekly animes when u get episode that are filler or extremely slow or boring, just think about jjk now subtract 3 minutes of the minute episode with intro and finish song etc and “in the previous episode bs” so it can get really tedious for weekly watchers

Pacing isn’t an issues for everyone. Personally I watch and read one piece cuz I love these characters and love this story. DressRosa was my favorite arc and I never thought anything about the pacing.

So just some education: Islands are tall lava formations underneath an island is more rock. Most likely what would be underneath would be lava most definitely not water. A island is all rock. It’s not a piece of land that’s just floating on top of the ocean. There are some pieces of land like that, but places like Hawaii and Japan were made by volcanoes, which would be a complete rock structure. It just got tall enough to reach above sea level.

I don’t know if you guys remember but in one piece a devil fruit user can only eat one fruit. If he would eat another fruit he would usually die. The only exception is Blackbeard who has the yami yami no mi and gura gura no mi (Whitebeard‘s fruit)

I think many of the people who talked about the pacing did it with good intentions because everyone wants to see you guys enjoy this arc because it really is one of the best arcs with great characters, it’s just it got kinda screwed, but who knows maybe there’s a chance you don’t notice the pacing.

About the complains for the pacing of the Dressrosa arc, I think there were a couple of reasons for the complains because in real time it took like 3 years. I personally didn’t really have any issues with the pacing. Reminder that a person cannot eat more than 1 devil fruit. They would die if they did. Blackbeard was a unique case.

I absolutely love Dressrosa, its one of my top favorite arcs to this day. I'm sure I'm the small percentage who has no problem with the pacing since I binged it. I didn't have to wait to watch it week to week. People complained about Fishman Island and the pacing and yall ended up loving it so who knows. About Pacing: Dressrosa was my favorite Arc until Wano came. Still - Both Arcs have very bad pacing. It's not abt subjective ideas its totally obvious and objective :D. The issue is fixed in the last third of Wano-Arc. From then on every Episode is paced like an Attack on Titan episode. But Dressrosa - Wano has pacingissues. Use this information to binge and get us through these moments. Would be awesome! <3

since you already heard it. yes the arc has horrible pacing (due to Toei not really the author). Its just a long arc that is longer by being a weekly anime. I think the anime was close to catching manga. But i will say the arc itself had a very premise and base, execution was very good.

The pacing wont be that bad at all since you guys are watching 6 episodes a week! Its an amazing arc, trust me.

As far as we know, Luffy cannot eat two devil fruits. A person will typically die if they eat two. Blackbeard is just... Different. That's why it was such a big deal that he ate a second one because he shouldn't really be able to.

The pacing is pretty brutal in some parts of this arc but I think at the pace you guys are going at, doing 3 eps in a row twice a week, it should be fine. There is a LOT packed into this arc so you'll have plenty to keep you keen

Normally you can’t have two Devil Fruits.. your body would just explode. During the Marineford War it was mentioned that Blackbeard is the first and only person known to have two, and nobody knows how that’s possible, at least at the point you guys are in the story

Pacing? so what.. nothing is perfect.. u watch with all the flaws and etc.. that's why I won't watch One pace or whatever. If we only got the cream, its too rich in a way putting it metaphorically.
