When Brook played the piano at the last part of Thriller Bark, Luffy mentioned that the song he played used to be played by Shanks' crew when Luffy was a kid. There are about 2 or 3 things that this season will sprinkle that u haven't caught up. but if its something that seems familiar to you its definitely was mentioned and yall probably just forgot. I had to rewatch and reread OP 3 or 4 times just to catch up on every single detail.

I feel Like Smoker is closer to being Luffy's Marine rival. Koby, Shirahoshi, and a bunch of other young people will be the ones to carry the shattered world into ONE PEACE.

Luffy mentioned that he knew and had heard the Bink's Brew song from Shanks and his crew. Drops like Dadan's name are little easter eggs for One Piece manga and anime fans. ^-^ I'm currently on episode 5 of OPLA Season 2, and so far, there are some spoilers present, but they shouldn't be detrimental to your overall anime experience.

Bink’s brew is a common song the almost every pirate knows. So he’s saying shanks sang it to him when he was a kid. This was already mentioned at the point you guys are in the anime.

When Brook joins Luffy’s crew in Thriller Bark, he tells Brook that Shanks used to sing this song all the time with his crew. Shanks learned the song from Roger back when he was an apprentice with Buggy.

Luffy is talking about shanks crew. In the first episode of szn 1 live action you can hear the tune of binks brew in the background during luffys flashback when Shanks is stitching up his scar. Pretty cool detail

Actually Binks Brew did played in season 1 but it wasn't obvious They kept it secret so well not many people knew Brook is in it

Oda’s way of writing is through the perspective of the straw hats. Koby is a major character and so are so many other characters…it’s just we don’t see them much cuz the straw hats don’t see them much

Shoes! A lot of fan don’t like this and it should be flip flop but I think the actor is right when he said that it’s true he can be more authentic, but what’s the point of that when you can’t do the stunt correctly to make use enjoy the series better. Seriously, Jacky Chan can’t do his stunts on flip flop either. It makes sense, shoes with kool stunts.

Remarks. This season is so much better than the 1st. The camera angle is in much better flow. Production gone up for sure.

Not sure if the mods have already brought it to your guys attention but there are SPOILLERRSSSS this season. Due to it being live action, i’m assuming they are speeding up a lot of stuff in order to put the show out before the actors are all in the 50s, but because of that, they are revealing stuff way earlier than the anime did. I seriously recommend not continuing to watch the live action at least until you guys are finished with the next arc in the anime.

It’s not just Koby, the live action has so much more Marine scenes in it because it’s a way to give the world building stuff while using a lot of the same sets pieces and actors to keep the budget down!

Yeah you guys missed this in the first episode but the live action heavily implies that Luffy is actually the son of gold roger The live action have not said who luffys dad is or how old Luffy is, so when Luffy said he knows the song it's another little thing to make you think if Roger could be his dad You missed that little detail because you were so focused on what information you know from the anime Imagine not knowing and that's the theory you create, one piece is great
