Random, but I always get lowkey thrown off when Iām watching these stream recordings here on Patreon then I hear Ron say things like āhey btw weāre four weeks ahead - on Patreonā¦ā Especially without the disclaimer of āif youāre watching us on YouTubeā¦ā beforehand lol. I mean, no biggie bcuz I get that heās saying it for the YT audience bc thatās where I used to watch them before I caught up there and decided to switch to Patreon for the next 4 weeks of content + better quality. And they prob never thought to edit that part out just to reinsert when they upload to YT, but Itās just kinda funny how I still get triggered each time thinking that thereās some other platform where theyāre ANOTHER 4 weeks ahead of even the Patreon uploads š
I feel like you guys kind of looked over the fact doffy has conquerors haki lol. remember anyone is able to master observation haki and armament haki, but conquerors haki is incredibly rare and only possessed by 1 in 10 million people and even then not all who possess it are able to master it. it is also seen as āthose who have the qualities of a kingā. until now youāve only known of shanks, whitebeard, rayleigh, and hancock possessing it. And then you saw ace use it unintentionally as a child, but he never mastered it. doflamingo having mastered conquerors haki is a pretty big deal lol. that alone should tell you how powerful he is compared to the previous villains youāve seen in one piece.
Doffy is one of the best villains in anime history next to Aizen, frieza and madara.

I want to Add ODA said to the fanbase to Stop calling out Momonosuke (I misspelled did my best) for being a pervy kid for us to shut up we are ruining it for the young boys, which tells me I did not do this as a young boy. Let me know if you did. ODA as a little kid knew he could dive right into titties.

We don't have crew member end of every arc but there's special times where its alliances like with Law. Just like in Alabasta Vivi joined the crew for a while but wasn't permanent in the crew. It's Dressrosa not Dress'a'rosa

I donāt know if this a spoiler or not but if so Iāll remove it. But I love how in one piece we get shown different power scales. Like how doffy pulls up to punk hazard and destroys smoker who is a vice admiral but then we get kuzan who pulls up and would wipe the floor with doffy. Similar to when we got introduced to kizaru for the first time and he just seemed unstoppable at saboady but then we get Rayleigh who goes toe to toe with him. And then After that at marineford, we see marco go toe to toe with him. One of the things I love about one piece.
Like they said be careful with one piece spoilers. I saw them everywhere in Japan before I was even into one piece

Dressrosa is a very good arc but the pacing is not the best. One thing I will say is most people will say itās terrible due to when we were getting 1 episode a week when it was getting released weekly. It might have been the worst period for one piece, I think we were watching dressrosa for 2 years real time and felt like it would never end. But with reactors doing 6 episodes a week it isnāt too bad. Besides this arc has almost everything you want. Best villain, some of the best back stories, lore, and most definitely world building. But switching to 9 episodes a week for this arc is a suggestion and you guys can decide after watching 20-30 episodes or so.

Aokiji's silhouette and voice was shown a few episodes ago when we saw Doflamingo otw to Punk Hazard. That was the voice and siilhouette you failed to recognize. I can't wait for Dressrosa not because of the fights but because of one. >.< And also the many backstories.

Where are you guys on the One Pace possibility? Sorry if youāve already addressed it; I just havenāt been paying attention. I liked this arc regardless, but this is definitely where people start to really feel the pacing, and I know a lot of people say the One Pace version significantly improves the arc (I havenāt seen it myself).
They have said a few times they're not going to do it. A few weeks ago Ron was making fun of people who criticized one pieces pacing too, was a bit of a bummer. I think there's still a decent chance it becomes unbearable to them in the next arc tho
I like to think they hire a totally separate VA for the dugong. They just come in, go, āKERRRBERGEERā, and leave.

Someone pointed this out while I was watching a review of this arc, Oda disrespected Smoker. He gets beaten by Law then gets a second beaten by Vergo, then gets a third beaten by Doffy. Smoker was untouchable in the beginning and now he took 3 Ls in an arc š¢
For me it felt like Oda was showing why it was important for strawhats to train or else that would be their fate
Oh wow you are in Tokyo!? Welcome! I highly recommend a Miyazaki Prefecture Style Chicken Nanban Restaurant called Himuka Shokudo in Akihabara. It's CRAZY good, extremely popular and exotic since the food they serve is usually only available in Miyazaki. Next time you guys come your invited to Nagano if you want to Ski I also run a anime Cafe out here that will be open next month. Enjoy Japan HMU if you guys need any recommendations. I live here full time and have been visiting for 10 years haha.
