Unfortunately we nvr see Giorno again. Golden wind is prob the best arc, I would love to see Giorno continue his arc as a mob boss but after Stone Ocean which is next the arc, The world is reset making all the event's in Jojo like it never occured and we appear in a different reality where the Jojo's curse doesn't exist and Jonathan and Dio nvr have their rivalry which leads us to arc 7 which is the one we are in now, I'm still waiting for the first season to be finished to binge it :)

yup, by breaking the rock half of them died instead of just buccalleti, but it also changed fate where they now meet Giorno, instead of the original timeline where Giorno isnt part of the group and buccalleti is killed by diavolo the moment he returns his daughter.

In case you missed it, at 4:50, you see the signature Dio pose from Stardust Crusaders

There’s a reality where diavolo loses in a glizzy gobbling contest to Ron by choking on the 22nd hot dog and dies. Also one where he chokes on the 23rd one.

Hype for part 6

This show is so unique. The characters are so memorable and the storytelling gets better and better with each part. The comedy is also some of the best in anime. Just like you guys I never would have thought this would be in my top 5 before watching but it’s hard to deny it.

There was no "genjutsu" that Diavolo was trapped in, Diavolo's "truth" is him fated to die but he will never arrive at that truth. So he is fated to die but he is experiencing it over and over because GER nullifies him reaching the truth, so he is trapped in a never-ending "process" without reaching the destination. Which is ironic because King Crimson's ability is to skip over the "process" and reach the result, the truth, with his time skip ability A simple analogy would be someone dropping a coffee cup. King Crimson erases the process so it would go from holding a coffee cup to suddenly having coffee on the floor. With GER you never reach at the truth, so it would be a loop of the process of the cup dropping but never reaching the coffee on the floor part. But yeah basically Giorno is one of the most broken anime characters of all time now. He doesn't have flashy beam explosions but whatever nukes or blasts any anime character throws at him, GER just says "nah that didn't happen"

although he did shoot a beam through the boss's hand that turned the rubble into scorpions so...

JoJo is absolutely phenomenal as a manga/anime (easily top 5 all time and on some specific points I'd even say it's the best ever) but this particular season has to be the most beautiful thing I've seen in any anime, this was so damn beautiful and touching

R
Rocketboy · March 6, 2026

for the opening that changes, I don't recall any other anime doing this expect Toriko ? The opening had a different (funnier) version that was like a "what if" of the original opening. And for the ending, there is the very famous AOT you know when they added a very creepy sequence that interrupted the ending song with a scene that was a teaser for later

L
Lerolerolero · March 6, 2026

I'm a little late with this, but an interesting fact about Cioccolata and Secco is that they first appear in chapter 10; they're the silhouettes that torture Gelato and Sorbet. I love your reactions!

Canonically you guys have killed diavolo some sort of way 💀

w
wram · March 6, 2026

For the sake of helping you guys understand Golden Experience Requiem and Diavolo's fate, let me explain: Originally Golden Experience could only create life but now with Requiem it has unlocked a new ability called 'Return to Zero'. Return to Zero is the ability to remove the 'effect' from the 'cause'. Simply it makes it so an action will never reach it's result, or it's 'truth'. Giorno killed Diavolo and uses Return to Zero to trap him in an infinite death loop. This essentially created a reality where Diavolo experiences death an infinite number of times but never passes on to the afterlife. It's kind of like his soul is being tormented for the rest of eternity. This is why people in the community often joke about the ways Diavolo has died because every possibility you can think of, he's probably died that way. (So to be clear Ron, the infinite death loop isn't a separate ability to Return to Zero, it's just an application of that ability) I hope this clears things up and yeah it's safe to say Diavolo has one of the worst fates in all of anime/manga.

I saw the rock thing as a metaphor for choosing to face the pain you will have to go through vs taking the "easier" option which is letting it kil you and you feel no pain. They would rather face the future than run from it! Basically the opposite of Diavolo who kept chasing the future that wasnt real!

A
Arz.09 · March 7, 2026

lovely analysis

D
DRoger · March 6, 2026

In a weird way it was kind of a "glitch" like Ron said. If you notice Diavolo's premonition never came to fruition, but he still HAD the premonition, so what happened? Basically, he did see the future where he would win, but after he returned from Giorno releasing the ability to 'negate', the future he saw was erased, and Diavolo died chasing that future that wasnt real. It goes along with "you will never reach the truth" line as well!

Fantastic last batch for this part! I loved the story about the stone and how it tied everything up at the end. Excited for you guys to start part 6! Jojos is my top 2 lol Second to One Piece....but they switch from time to time hahaha

J

Oh and for the Rolling Stones thing, think about this way. The death that was depicted was Bucciarati getting a hole punched through his chest, IE, his death at the hands of King Crimson in the Cathedral. But because Mista got hurt destroying the stone, Bucciarati decided not to send him to investigate Luca, and investigated himself, which led him to meet Giorno. That meeting changed his fate, Giorno extended his life just a little at the cathedral. He was reborn just like Bucciarati said. Had he never met Giorno, events would have played out different but he would have still died at the hands of the boss.

J
Jargo · March 6, 2026

Because GER erases effect and keeps cause, he erased the effect of Diavolo's death. The universe will forever try to reconcile this until it finds a cause that will reach the desired effect. That desired effect will never arrive. Absolutely terrifying top tier stand.

V
Volt · March 6, 2026

If Mista never jumps off and destroys the rock then Bucciarati never goes to meet Giorno and he most likely ends up being killed by the boss trying to protect Trish as we see in our timeline but Giorno is not there to give him life so he just dies there. Mista destroying the rock seems like it impacts them negatively at first glance but he brings new life to every member even though he ensures that half of them will die. Bucciarati, Abbachio, and Narancia all die with their dreams rekindled so it can't truly be said that them dying was the bad ending for them.

V
Volt · March 6, 2026

Just thought about how this ties to Diavolo where he tries to erase his past, and his stand allows him to see future pitfalls and avoid them while only his actions remain. He lacks the resolve to dive into the unknown, only relying on his future sight and has no dream to strive for other than being "king". He even plans to run from the crew when he loses the arrow until he sees a favorable premonition. Mista and the others gamble their lives and reject easy comfortable deaths and fate rewards them with eventual victory even with the sacrifices they give

C
Cooking Ron · March 6, 2026

Requiem doesn’t have another ability the situation he’s in is because of Requiem revert to zero ability. Requiem finished off Diavolo so that means his fate is going to revert to zero which also means he’ll never have a true death. So Diavolo is stuck in an infinite death loop which in my opinion, is the worst fate in fiction by far. Also Diavolo is facing infinite ways to die. For example let’s say Ron hit Diavolo with a shovel and he dies, that’s technically canon and I’m not joking you can think of any death and Diavolo has experienced it since he’s facing infinite ways to die.

S
Shane Lewis · March 6, 2026

Because they tried to destroy the rock, Narancia and Abbachio also became destined to die. If they didn’t try break it, it would’ve only been Bruno as he wouldn’t have met Giorno

W
Wsgyan · March 6, 2026

Also I believe it’s never shown in the anime but fugo came back after giorno became the boss

W
Wsgyan · March 6, 2026

when Mista touched Rolling Stones, it had the words "bad luck" on it and it shocked him even though Mista wasn't the target, meaning the reason why he got so fucked up during Part 5 is because he was "cursed" with bad luck until the fate Rolling Stones saw is completed. And that Rolling Stones will curse you if you touch it and you're not the one it's targeting. Notice how Mista is the one that almost dies but he actually never does, while Narancia and Abbacchio went out with literally one hit?

A

The reason why Polnareff and Giorno were looking at each other in the end with the serious face is because they didn’t want to tell Trish and Mista that bucciarati died

ron was right if they never wouldve tried to destory the rock only bruno wouldve died but because they did all 3 of them died.

J
Jay rellim · March 6, 2026

"you will never arrive at the truth" - the truth was diavolo beat giorno but GER said "nah, you wont reach that reality" and put diavolo right where he was. then the new truth became diavolo got beat - the truth was diavolo dies. but GER said "nah, you wont reach that reality" and put diavolo in some multidimensional endless death loophole that 'resets his death to 0' at the start of each loop. this imo is the worst punishment we've seen for a jojo villain so far

B

jojo is not slept on lmao its one of the most popular animes of our generations theres people that refuse to watch it cuz of the art style

It's definitely slept on in the west, though it's been getting a lot more buzz since Part 6 came out on Netflix and the hype for Part 7. But even just 3-4 years ago alot of western anime fans hadnt seen jojos outside of memes.
