In tybw there are poems at the end of every episode, they are after the credits and they would make really good discussions. In the manga they had a poem at the end of every volume but the anime didn't add them until tybw. Those poems are a must.

I love this arc more and more. It's so cool when you watch it as an adult.

Fullbring serves as a refresher and a soft reset going forwards. It is needed to go into TYBW. And not to sound like another person saying it but TYBW is in a league of its own. You think Solo Leveling snd JJK animation and action is good? TYBW is on par if not even better. Not to take anything away from Solo Leveling or JJK as both of those are masterpieces in terms on animation and action as well. This is because after Fullbring arc, the anime went on a 10 year hiatus and when it came back, they poured every ounce of resource and effort into to make it stand out in todays market! No fillers, no nonsense. If anything, Kubo directed the animators to expand on the manga material to bring more original content that is canon.

Fullbring arc is underrated because it’s Bleach going psychological instead of just bigger fights. It’s not only “Ichigo lost his powers” it’s watching what that does to him when protecting people is basically his whole identity. When I was younger I didn't care very much for this arc but now I see it's honestly some of Kubo's best writing.

I understand it more like... all their moms were attacked by a hollow and with that attack the hollows leave some residual "energy/power" within the wound that at some point was passed into the babies when they were pregnant... so they were born with some kind of ability...

Since you pointed out the layering in Bleach’s storytelling, here’s something I love about its structure: Bleach has 5 major arcs, and each one spotlights a different race/aspect of the world - with every arc adding another puzzle piece to who/what Ichigo really is. 1. (no spoilers) Each arc deepens the lore of one faction - and at the same time, it’s secretly building Ichigo piece by piece. Only once you have all five puzzle pieces do you truly understand Ichigo. And then when you rewatch the series your brain kind of explodes - because suddenly all the foreshadowing, symbolism, and character hints were there from the beginning. You just didn’t have the full picture yet. That’s what makes Bleach so layered. It’s not just escalating power levels - it’s retroactive storytelling 🧡 PS: Love that you recognise the influence it has on other manga/anime.

The Fullbringers aren't entirely a new concept in Bleach as Chad and Orihime are the first examples introduced, but that the term Fullbring wasn't brought up until now and the circumstances of their powers emerging are different because of Ichigo and the Hogyoku. Honestly don't remember enjoying this arc back then but watching it now, this is actually a lot better than I remember it to be.

yes this arc is different but soooo good! we real Bleach fans told you how good this arc is we did not lie. this arc just oozes coolness the vibe and style is just so cool.

i say it every video but i love this arc. it's so emotional in a different way than the rest of the series. this arc honestly has one of my top 3 favorite moments in all of bleach. cant wait for yall to get to see it.

Cool thing about the “enhancement” aesthetically is just like Ron said about this arc being a good bridge between stories, this arc is a good bridge between the jump in animation/production heading into tybw if that makes sense. Bleach’s style is dope regardless

jjk is very inspired by bleach, the curses and hollows, bankai and domain expansion, tosen bankai was honestly exactly like a domain expansion and the same way bleach says bankai, jjk says domain expansion. and the author of jjk had talked about his love for the bleach author and the reason he started writing manga was bc of him

HXH came out in the 90’s so any similarities with bleach are most likely from HxH. Bleach is also similar to YuYuHakusho which was written by the same creator as HxH

I'm glad that you guys are adopting this new approach to reacting, or rather just slowing down to the rhythm you used to take during reactions. I started following you when you were finishing Naruto on YT and decided to become a patreon when you started reacting to Bleach, it's my favorite show, so I've noticed over the time a diminishing of the afterthought during reactions, sort of a rush to get to the next episode or next show. I live in Brazil and the membership isn't as affordable in Reais as it is in Dollars, I'm glad I'm getting your deeper thoughts on the shows, rather than just live reaction from my favorite reacters.

The easiest way to explain it is that their Fullbring comes from their mothers being attacked while they are pregnant, and the power that the offspring has is hollow in nature.

Hi :) Ginjo explained why they hate their Fullbring power. In short, their power comes from the Hollow that attacked their mother, and they are disgusted by having such a power like this. He told Ichigo, "You understand us", just as Ichigo himself has often rejected and hated the Hollow part of himself.
