Holy fuck the 4th episode has to be the greatest episode of all time
The info overloadd🤯 reminds me when I was reading this and being so confused so I get if it doesnt make sense all now I do like how the episode directed this though, the scenes, the music👏
Angel is a completely different person than the person with Sukuna
Y'all not ready for Takaba or Hakari man I'm telling you
Angel is not the same person Sukuna was with in Season 2. That's Uraoume
Idk if its just me, but that amount of information over loaded my brain
not just you. I remember when this started in the manga everyone had questions on the reddit to clarify stuff LOL
I'm surprised Ron remember Naoya's name. (Nah-oh-yah) I don't think he's inspired by Gin but just shares the same VA. I think that was point of the picture you seen. Also shout out to everyone explaining in the comments y'all helping me out lol cuz this is a lot of info
It's stated in Shibuya that Kenjaku made pacts with sorcerers the last 1000 years to participate in the Culling games. Angel wasn't Sukuna's friend from season 2
Damn that new ending Song be hitting hard this season 🔥
Angel is not the same as the person that knows Sukuna
Yes
yall gonna love kinji hakari he is crazy strong
Pause if you need cause that was a lot of info dumped on viewers. I'm a bit mixed up on what has been revealed or not so I can't clarify however I do see some have explained rather well in regards to your questions.
fun fact, Ken-san in the last scene is an actual comedian called Kendo Kobayashi, and he also voice acting the character. in interview, he said Gege knew him so well that he would've said the same thing to his junior comedian 🤣 I love this meta stuff with JJK 🙂↕️
You'll understand why Yuta said Hakari is stronger when "he gets in to it". Idk if its translated in English correctly, but in Japanese it makes sense (ノッている notteiru), that you'll find out later after you meet him 🙊
The direction of this episode (like how they're showing the rules and stuffs in mechanic way, its different from manga) reminds me of an anime movie called "Summer Wars", I think you both would be interested in it🤓
I don't think Naoya is inspired by Gin, its just the VA is same. Is there any official information about where the inspiration come from? I'm just curious.
I’ll try to quickly break down what Tengen is actually explaining here, because Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those series that really rewards paying close attention. A lot of the information that becomes important now has been scattered throughout past seasons in short conversations between characters, usually without much depth, which makes it easy to miss or forget. On top of that, many of these ideas are closely tied to what we see in the Gojo and Geto flashbacks, as well as in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. All of those moments were setting things up, and now, in this arc, everything finally comes together. The reason Kenjaku created the Culling Games is to gather an enormous amount of cursed energy in preparation for his assimilation with Tengen. As Tengen explains, this assimilation requires a massive and stable supply of cursed energy to work properly. By forcing sorcerers to fight inside separate barriers, the Culling Games constantly generate cursed energy through battle, fear, and death. Each colony functions as its own barrier, and all of them are connected through larger peripheral barriers, forming a single system. This setup allows the cursed energy produced inside the colonies to be collected and used by Kenjaku. After Tengen lost his Star Plasma Vessel twelve years ago, he was forced to evolve in order to survive. As a result, he stopped being fully human and became a higher, almost omniscient existence tied to the barriers and the cursed energy of Japan. Because of this evolution, Kenjaku can use Tengen as the core of his plan to merge all of Japan’s population into one collective entity by forcibly awakening cursed energy within them.
Yep read this breakdown^ explains it perfectly without spoilers
Yuta is being humble when he is saying Hakari is stronger than him because his personality is to always downplay himself ever since the movie. That's why Maki said "that's impossible".
keep your heresy to yourself
THE CULLING GAMES SIMPLIFIED: 1.) KENJAKU (Brain in Getos body) has initiated an AOE game in 10 cities. 2.) The game is kill other sorcerers and get points. 3.) The people who choose to play will either awaken cursed techniques OR there will be players who have been resurrected from 1000 years ago, who will come back to life to play. 4. The 1000 year old sorcerers sometimes resurrect in a current humans body, but not always. 5.) Get 100 points, you can add a rule. 6.) Literally no other rule matters. They're addressed here and there but they don't play any major roles, and just serve to confuse people. 7.) What is the game for? Why does Kenjaku need people to awaken and kill each other? Well that's the big question lol
My one piece of advice in this arc, don't get overly caught up in the rules at this point, you will understand them and they will be even clearer once you experience them in play, also glad ron is coming around to jjk a bit😂, cant wait to see your reaction next week!
1. In season 1 Gojo mentioned hakari as one of the people who has the potential to become as strong as him, 1 was Yuta 2. Was Todo 3. Was hakari, then 4 was potentially yuji since he started eating the fingers 2. Angel is not the person sukuna was talking to and knows Sukuna. That is Uraume, who had ice powers 3. Angel is one of the sorcerers that has come back to life from 1,000 years ago. Kenjaku at the end of season 2 used idle transfiguration to bring back some sorcerers from the heian era through using somebody from moderns time body. For example angel. Megumis sister also had a marking on her forehead at the end of season 2, and you’ll see more in the season which is why kenjaku said at the end of season 2 they are kinda like a Yuj; people who have a sorcerer/curse from the hein era in them 4. Not everyone is sorcerers from heian era in the culling games, there are also modern day sorcers, and some people who have had their innate potential unlocked by Kenjaku using idle transfiguration, turning ordinary people into sorcerers, all part of evolving humanity 5. Nothing is good about Sukuna lol, he literally would never do anything to help Yuji if it’s not for his benefit. He literally trolls Yuji in an evil way the whole show so far, and he literally massacred thousands on thousand of people. Hes basically the incarnation of evil “the king of curses”.
unfortunately angel is not uraume even though that is a super interesting idea. Angel is instead one of the techniques (not sorcerers) from 1000 years ago that is engraved into the character Hana Kurusu. No spoilers but they are different characters lol. honestly, i would refresh on the last speech that kenjaku gives at the end of the shibuya incident it really helped me when i read this all for the first time lmao.
angel is a sorcerer bruh.
OMG Michelle that was so awkward at the start!
My goat hakari
Ron, Naoya and Gin have the same voice actor XD lol, literally the same.
danm they going to be surprise at the end of the season
I love Takaba so much.
Inverted Spear of Heaven is the blade Toji used to pierce Gojos infinity and the black rope is the weapon Miguel used against Gojo in the JJK 0 movie.
I think yall forgot that some of them actually talked to Uraume before lol. That is not the same person as Angel.
I don’t blame yall for pausing during this episode it’s a lot of information dumping but very important info that makes everything easier to understand later. Needed a few pauses too 😂
liking naoyo is a big yikes ngl you'll see soon especially with how he treats women and how hes the biggest misogynistic person on the planet
clearly he’s a misogynist and overall super arrogant , anyone can see that. She just means he’s an entertaining character.
Ron doing 67 is so funny man im wheezing
HAKARI
I never read the manga and don’t know anything past this, but that last guy with the whole “50-50… it’s more like 70-30” idk but that kinda reminded me of Nanami’s technique with with the his ratio thing no? 🤔 makes me wonder if we’re going to see old techniques from dead characters reintroduced thru new “players” 👀
i wish 😔 kenjaku specifies at the end of season 2 that the techniques and sorcerers were obtained through pacts that kenjaku had been making for years. therefore, nanami couldn't have made a pact with kenjaku.
W information dump episode tbh 📰 (This lowkey gonna be a yap fest just explaining shit, yall aint gotta read ts if you don't want) Anyways if yall read my comment from last episode, the brain controlling geto's body is an ancient sorcerer from 1000+ years ago — Kenjaku. (Glad his name was instantly revealed this episode cause people cannot help but spoil every detail 😭) The constant pauses and dissection/discussion of the info shared to yall was also nice to see, but heres like another explanation (w/o spoilers) just incase anybody needs it. Kenjaku's Goal: Kenjaku wants to basically evolve humanity's evolution from its current state by forcing sorcerers and non-sorcerers to awaken cursed techniques (this was explained during last season's final showdown when he was explaining his plan to yuki n them) — then driving them into a giant death game so he can gather massive amounts of cursed energy as sorcerers fight and die to complete the ritual that would allow humanity to merge with Tengen. All of them are just energy producers to him, he don't give a fuck about them outside of that ✌️ Aka — (FUELING THE MERGER). Theres more but I'll let the anime explain/reveal it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but he's also using that CE to strengthen his Cursed Techniques right? (Cursed Spirit Manipulation) (In reference to their explanation of Idle Transfiguration — after snatching Mahito's chain) Kenjaku uses Idle Transfiguration to alter the souls of those non-sorcerers (Megumi's Sister) to awaken dormant cursed techniques and initiate the culling games. Yuji's Group: Rescuing Tsumiki Fushiguro, Freeing Satoru Gojo, Adding New Rules, Protecting Master Tengen "I really hope that the angel is that one person we saw last season" - Michelle 😭✌️ (Tuff Luck) The Angel (Hana Kurusu) is NOT the person from last season who you are referring to. Who is (Uraume) w/ the white and red hair, following Sukuna around. Angel is cooler than that bum 😏 (If you actually read my info dump and wanna correct me on anything or just reply feel free to do so! 😺)
Yuji is related to Kenjaku, otherwise Choso's techniques side effect of being able to feel his blood related family, would not recognize Yuji. So in one way or another, Kenjaku does mix in some common DNA between his bodies, when producing all these offspring of his. So like what Choso said in the end of season 2, they both have 3 parents. Choso's are his mother, the cursed spirit that impregnated her and Kenjaku, who at the time inhabited Kamo Noritoshi's body, who mixed his blood/DNA in as well (so kinda 4 for Choso). Yuji's then, would be his dad and Kenjaku/Momjaku, so he has the genes from his dad, his moms body and Kenjakus. So him and Choso are bloodrelated halfbrothers. That's all just from what we've already been told! Other than him having a grandpa as well, that's all we know so far from the show of Yuji's "pedigree" c:
if you were confused before 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Angel was not the same person sukuna was talking to last season
Angel is a completely different person and sorcerer who just now got reincarnated into a body by Kenjaku in the culling games, I think yall were confusing her with Uraume who was journeying with Sukuna
Takaba is the guy in the intro wearing the WiFi 🛜 outfit
when will you guys watch fire force season 3
Normally I dont like 20min information episodes, but this was 100% needed😂
Fun fact: Naoya zenin and gin from Bleach have the same VA
LETS GOOOOO
