Ferrari F50 (1995) v3.1
Our Racing Simulator
It gives me such joy to share this with the community. ❤
I have been working non-stop on this update in the last two weeks. Along with the fantastic Spider version there are also several fixes following feedback, further optimisations to 3d and textures, cleaner UV mapping and textures on some interior and engine parts, more CSP effects and tweaked existing shaders, improved ambient shadows, more paint options, more realistic brake discs and brake glow, closed seams and better masking, new tyres valve caps, new templates for customer liveries, and... well, that's all I can remember at the moment. 😄
I'd like to thank in particular to David Celio for his scratch made 3d work on the parts needed for the Spider version. 👏 I had a Spider version in the works, but it just wasn't good enough, the quality of the 3d I came up with did not match the laser scanned original 3d model very well. I shared it with him and we both decided his effort was the one to go with. I hope to work with him in the future on his projects and help him with his future creations.
The Ferrari F50 is such a clean and polished mod, and while still far from perfect in my eyes, it is a testament to my relentless pursuit for improvement both in the mod itself and my skill set. It's taken me years to achieve my vision and my dream for my favourite Ferrari. I'm not a professional, all I have learned is self-taught, and I don't profess to be anything special. I never followed, instead always experimenting and innovating. I guess this is more interesting to me. I always left my mods unencrypted to help others learn and understand how I have achieved some of the features my mods have, and I have always been honest and answered questions to anyone that asked. Many thanks to the collaborators that helped me on this journey, and to the modders that came before me and the ones after. I never wanted to make many mods, but the ones I did I wanted to push the limits of what the racing simulation community thought was possible in terms of quality, creativity and polish. I hope I have done this, and I have inspired others along the years to take on this amazing hobby and bring their automotive dream to reality. 🙏
I see so many wonderful works from many modders in the community and I salute their work and their efforts. I have a lot of time for the respectful, genuine, kind, friendly, talented, gifted and professional 3d artists and modders that make the many wonderful mods in the Assetto Corsa community. Congrats to them and their achievements. The others... you know which ones, I'll let God sort them out. 🙂

The glowing exhausts are simply incredible. The audio bug that I had mentioned a while ago also seems to have been fixed. Again, excellent work!
Thanks bud. 🙂
I can't thank you enough for your work. You are immortalizing this beauty.
I hope for this, and I want everyone to enjoy it. I may never have the pleasure of driving or even riding in such a legendary supercar. So I decided to learn 3d and modding so I can make my automotive dreams come true.

It just keeps getting better. Wow.
Thanks. 🙂 Always room for improvement. One day I will win the Lottery and buy one. 🙏 That will be the "final" update. 😁
