The Thing

I hope yall check out the 2011 version

I love how the audiences first view of "The Thing" is the dog, they really wanted us to empathize with an alien within the first 5 seconds of the film LOL.

ShawShawna's Wtfs though 😂 absolutely hilarious but warranted

Having just seen the new Halloween game that just came out with michael myers, I think THE THING version was be something special if they did it right

Definitely watch the 2011 one. It is technically a 'Prequel' and shows the Norwegian base

This movie reminds me so much of Among us.

I like the new one because it’s accurate with how everything happened what they showed in the beginning of this movie and you guys should check out “trick r treat”

i hope they watched the 2011 "verison" as well. the thing 2011 was great to me. not better. but i was good

We need more reactions of avatar the last airbender guys

1:14:55 is the scene they shown in. Stranger. Things S1

Tremors is a classic

The doctor is the guy who did the "diabetes" commercials back in the 90's early 00's. I forgot Keith David was in this movie.

Btw when shoshana said the ship looked like a painting, it was a painting. A matte painting, drawn on glass. A lot of old movies including star wars used them all the time.

This is one of my favorite films of all time. I never get tired of watching it.

Some more John Carpenter classics y'all should check out Escape from New York (1981) They Live (1988) In the Mouth of Madness (1994) also Sam Raimi Evil Dead Trilogy is also good 👍

The original Among Us, also my favorite John Carpenter film

OMG I tried to get this film to win a poll so many times! So happy you guys are finally reacting to it! Excited for this one <3

Incredible film. Was a huge influence on hateful eight believe it or not.

This is probably the scariest shit ever!!!

Holy sh*t I was just thinking about this!! (mostly because I was watching your Stranger Things reaction and it was shown in there lol!) You watched it!!!

John Carpenter is a legend. Check out Halloween for the original slasher film. Also his film in the mouth of madness for cosmic horror and they live for a more action oriented satire of 80s culture. Christine is great too as its a stephen king adaptation as well as the fog. Escape from New York might be one of his most iconic. Thats more of an action sci fi film.

I believe they shot the exteriors in some remote part of alaska. The interiors were shot on a soundstage in LA.

Sudays be delivering...

Yeahhh! Also, you guys should watch The Thing (2011), which is the prequel that explains how the dog got to the base and what happened in the norwegian base

Cliffhanger was the movie Ace Ventura was making fun of

I was literally just thinking about this the other day. Fun fact, the creature effects were overseen by makeup artist Rob Botin. He worked seven days a week for a whole year creating the effects. After filming wrapped, he promptly went to the hospital and checked in for exhaustion and pneumonia.

Another great movie choice - Since you're on a roll with these old school classics I'm going to suggest 'Midnight Express' (1978) as another one worth watching

Yall went back to them 80s classics. I see yall. Ha. This in my opinion is the greatest sci fi horror movie ever made

Ohhhhh Yeeeeeah!

This movie shows that practical effects age better than CGI. More horror movies need to do this

Oh wow, this one is a classic too! Great movie picks this weekend!
