When they were making Logan, supposed to be Hugh Jackman's swan song to Wolverine, they were deeply inspired by this movie.
Dirty Harry movies
Clint Eastwood in The Outlaw Josey Wales and also Gene Hackman in The Quick and The Dead. Gene Hackman had alot of great roles as well. RIP.
39:00 Has a queen ever been shot? Not successfully, but there were multiple attempts. But here's the funny thing. English Bob is played by the great Richard Harris. Among his significant roles is the titular Cromwell (1970), in which he led a revolution against King Charles I following which Chuckie lost his head. Literally. He seems to have a love/hate relationship with royalty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYBCin5DF4I&t=286s :-)
Some more clint eastwood classics. The man with no name trilogy and high planes drifter for some more westerns. Dirty Harry series for cop films. And Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is a great buddy film with him and Jeff Bridges. Those are just a few.
Dirty Harry someday?
Hello from England, wanted to ask will you be watching the rest of the Rocky films
Vince is right on about tarantino with his use of music. Mostly its down to a specific action beat. Quentin Tarantino didnt even have a composer on his films until hateful eight. He just used music tracks from films he liked.
[SPOILER warning for those foolish enough to read this comment section before watching the movie.] "I don't deserve this. ... I was building a house." Despite watching this movie several times, I only now realized the metaphorical meaning of this line. Little Bill, in his ruthless and even sadistic way, had actually been trying to build a "house," that is: turn a Wild West town into a relatively civilized place with the rule of law, instead of everyone shooting everyone. But just like his literal house, his construction was flawed. He just ain't no carpenter.
I continue loving the caustic irony of "You're the only friend I've got."
When you can watch Crimson Tide. Denzel and Gene Hackman (little bill)
The actor that ya'll recognized but couldn't place where from....in the scene where they shot the horse and broke the guys leg. Vince said that he thought it was comedies that he recognized him from. He's the actor that was in the Scary Movie (1 & 6), White Chicks, etc. Lochlyn Monroe is his name.
Thanks for the spoiler warning..
btw if you want a western experience in a game for your streams Vince, Red Dead Redemption 2 is GOATED
He is ten and she is maybe 7
oooh! Love me some western! Clint Eastwood to top it off?! 馃挴 If you want to see Clint young and one of his most iconic movies, I recommend The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
I second The Good The Bad And The Ugly鈥lso Fist Full Of Dollars, and For A Few Dollars More. Otherwise known as Man With No Name Trilogy.
It was interesting how the movie reverses the typical western roles. In any other film Gene Hackmans sheriff, little bill would be the good guy and William Munny the bad guy.
The actor who played English Bob played the first Dumbledore in the first 2 Harry Potter movies
RDR2 and Unforgiven! Tombstone must be a lock, but can we take it even further and get to a Deadwood series reaction? You could teach that newborn some interesting words. Thanks for the drop!
I love when yall choose! Great fucking movie.
Oh shit, hell yeah! This is a classic! Which reminds me...did episode 2 of the RDR2 stream happen yet?
No they just had the baby so he took this week off.
Let鈥檚 gooooo!!
