Locke being in Australia because he wanted to do a survival mission and not being able to do it and then the plane crash on an island made him an easy target for the island and not wanting to leave. Also Boone got a response and told where he was so maybe that will play a part.
It wasn’t johns fault at all what happened. Boone was his own person. He did not have to go into the jungle or climb it. He also did not have to stay in once it started to fall and Locke said to get out. It was an accident and Jack is doing too much
The loss of blood and not being able to save Boone doesn't help and I don't think Looke telling him the wrong reason would have saved Boone if he knew it was actually a plane not a cliff
I LOVE hearing yalls theories at the end. This show is great for that and I am glad yall are paying attention to the details! Locke is one of the great characters of history.

I think we can clearly see John loves this island… I mean, his freaking legs were healed! I don’t think he wants to leave. Might be afraid that his legs would stop working if he leaves. Why would you leave a place where miracles happen?
Same and he also could be so deep into the island that it can cause harm around the other survivors if he gets too deep into it
When Sayid tells John "no more lies" it has so much aura 😂 have you noticed how well done the lighting is in this show? It feels like comic book lighting
