i dont care what you tell me the dad is a cunt and irl hed get his cap blown of smooth. literally could have found any other place but instead he industrializes a place that is literally only isolated because of the people he makes weapons for genociding these people. i know the show tries to make like he was doing something senseful but its literally not. his entire argument of finding this place in desolation is not a good argument to destroy sacred things of a lost culture and especially falls flat when you consider that, again, he could have chosen any other place. also it kinda fucks with the air temple statement aang made at the southern air temple episode cause he says the only way to get there is with a flying bison (or a comet power boost ofc) but then again i think the northern airtemple is the only one aang didnt see before freezing himself not a bad episode by any means but definitely my least favorite of the season and the entire show.
