Twister

Jeremy Davies is the guy you recognized in the chase crew at the beginning that you couldn't figure out where you knew him from. While he looks a lot like Bear from Obsession, it's actually the interpreter from Saving Private Ryan.

So glad you guys watched this!! It's definitely a favorite of mine since I was 6 years old (when it released). It's one of those films that just feels good. I love the vibe, the sense of adventure, a party of people chasing storms to help save lives. I love the soundtrack, (both the composed scores and the songs throughout it) gets me hyped lol. Lovely film. I recommend Speed with Keanu Reeves, if you haven't seen it. Same director and composer, also a fun one! Final note: You mentioned that you thought that Jonas was Papa in Stranger Things. He's not him, but he is in the series. He's the Mayor in season 3 lol. The actor's name is Cary Elwes. He's also Westley in The Princess Bride!

W movie, I live in tornado alley so this movie is basically just the midwest experience lol

How did I miss this upload? I love this movie and can’t wait to watch! Such a classic.

I hope you do twisters also. There’s a small Easter egg which connects to first movie, but other than that, it’s a whole new story nearly 30 years after events of first movie. Not a remake really. I love the 2nd one also, saw in theaters, that was so great in surround sound

I remember watching the previews for Twister when she was younger and it scared the crap out of me. I remember being in the 5th grade and they let us watch it on our last days of school after we finished the state testing. RIP Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Please watch SWAPPED !! New animation movie on netflix , super good

If you want another film by Jan De Bont watch Speed with Keanu Reeves. Its his best film

She reminded me of Jodie foster first time she appeared. That and the 90s vibe reminded me of Contact, with Jodie foster and Matthew mcconaughey, I love that movie and it’s a classic. It’s a story written by Carl Sagan that is all I’m gonna say. Check it out without spoilers if it interests you.

Yes tornadoes can be multiple in a day. Even worse than what you saw in this movie. I was little when it happened here in Texas

He the doctor in Saw locked up in the bathroom with the other guy the dude he punched

Need to watch the other twister movie its really good as well

@322 did Vince just flick me off lol

A tornado in Oklahoma in 2013 broke the record for the widest recorded at 2.6 miles wide. It unfortunately killed some well-known storm-chasers that were tracking it.

I was too young to remember but my mother said it sounded like jet engines when the tornado was over our shelter.

MVP Aunt Meg

Ain't that the mayor from season 3 of Stranger Things, or am I trippin?

Another classic Nostalgia

Am I having a stroke? I thought they did this movie already.... don't do drugs kids

Omg hope yall watch the kraken !! Such crazy movie

just wait till you guys watch the recent one, the 2000s were the worst of the tornado's like El Reno, Hackles burg, Enderlin, Jarell, Joplin and so-so much more. It's insane, please think about it. Edit* ( This movie were created 3 years before the strongest Tornado and fastest tornado of all time, coming in at wind speeds of 321 mph, the Bridge Creek -Moore Oklahoma tornado (1999)

Not Papa but he DID play the Mayer of Hawkins in Stranger Things. Twisters is another fun movie.. Bill Paxton who played Bill always tried getting a sequel to this, but sadly passed away before it happened. Also there's a really great movie called Into the Storm (2014) that I aways thought of as a soft sequel to this, like a similar movie with no relation to Twister. I recommend it. I think you'll really like it.

Thoughts & Prayers for the people just effected by that big tornado in Illinois last week.

Such a Fun Movie, dang wasn't expecting this today

Yoo what a classic

The leader of the Jonas group was the Mayor of Hawkins in season 3 of ST

Bill Paxton was on Independence Day and Titanic

Seen this movie at the theatres with my late dad, I’ll always remember that. It was my first experience at the theatre. This movie holds a special meaning in my life. He passed in Dec. 2022. ❤️

Me (6 or 7), my brother (3 or 4) and my parents heeded a tornado warning (not “watch”; actual SIGHTINGS) by cutting off all lights, electronics, etc in the house, gathering in my parents bedroom. . .then, promptly opening the door that let directly to the screen’d-in front porch (lol!). We watched as the rain went from vertical to a slight angle to nearly completely horizontal. . .and all-of-a-sudden: no hail, no thunder, no lightning, no torrential downpour and all of outside turned completely green. We were going crazy b/c of how beautiful it was. . .having no idea we were in the eye of an F3. When we stepped outside the next day, the damage to the cars, surrounding homes, our elementary school (directly across the street) & our local shops/stores was catastrophic! We aren’t quite like “tornado alley” (Oklahoma, Kansas, etc. . .but Atlanta’s geography lends itself to some absolutely MASSIVE storms as well. #GreatReactionBTW

Yall are terrible with faces lol 😆 just saying

I got to see this at the drive-in when I was 11 years old. It definitely added to the spookiness of it, pitch black outside with just the screen being lit. Little 11 year old me was shitting legos during the drive-in scene in the movie, haha. Appreciate you both, this one brings back some memories!

Everyone posting about Cary Elwes being in The Princess Bride... c'mon guys, thats Pierre Despereaux!

Jonas was indeed on Stranger Things, which I think is where you were thinking Papa, but he was actually the Mayor on season 3. He's been on lots of other stuff too, but I think this is likely where you have seen him.

I’m so hyped

Jonas the villain in this was Wesley in the princess bride.

Dusty was played Phillip Seymour Hoffman from the hunger games

Been waiting years for this one. When I was little an event like this took place where I live in Texas. Multiple tornadoes all over the place including an F5 which completely destroyed Jarrell Texas. My dad and I barely got away from one when he was taking me home from school. All his clothes were destroyed at the cleaner shop. The sky does turn Green like that btw. Yall have seen almost every actor on here. Bill was in Titanic. Dusty was in hunger games. Young black hair guy was the translator in Saving private Ryan.

The leader of the other storm chasing group played on princess bride and Saw

One of my all time favorite movies!

I love this movie! And still holds up today

SO HAPPY you are reacting to this! I was gonna suggest it for next poll. An amazing movie!

Yes! The Twister ride was awesome! You felt the wind and rain etc! Very cool

This is a great film
