I wouldn't say the dragons are "useless" that's kind of wild, no matter what having a dragon bonded to you is like having an atomic bomb in your pocket at all times, being able to use whenever. In this world having a dragon, puts you ahead of everyone and anyone, Dany's second dragon being shot down this episode was so random and heartbreaking for her!!! Also, Drogon (black dragon Dany rides) is bigger and a lot stronger than his two brothers bc he was roaming free for a while, we've seen Drogon get hit with one of those huge arrows by Bronn using those huge arrows, and he is fine
Tormund's absolute love of Brienne is probably my favorite part of these last two seasons. She has never had a person so physically attracted to her before, and of all people it's the hairy Wilding who gets hammered on milk wine.

You mentioned Missandei being Cersei’s leverage… but that made me think… why didn’t she keep her alive in the throne room with her to use as a human shield like the people? THAT definitely would’ve made Danaerys think twice… but killing her just gives up that leverage for a little power play?

The showrunners really fell off a cliff as soon as they ran out of books to adapt. I’m sure yall have been told this a hundred times by now but the George RR Martin still hasn’t finished the last two books in the series. So everything after season 7 is based on his rough notes and suggestions but it’s not a true adaption. And HBO made this even worse by rushing to the finish line. GOT is so good because it takes its time, but these episodes feel like they’re just rushing through things to get to the end. Jaime probably should have gone back to Cersei in the end, Danny probably would have become a tyrant—fine, it’s in their character, but those arcs should have taken whole seasons to play out instead of just randomly shoehorning them all into an hour. It’s such a massive disappointment.
You two have been some of the best Game of Thrones reactors, I have personally watched!!! The way you listened to dialogue, and really paid attention to character's storylines was like no other! I really hope you two continue on in this world and watch the other two prequel series, House of Dragon and Knight of a Seven Kingdoms, watching you both react to those series would be so much fun!! I know you both would LOVE those shows just as much as Game of Thrones!!!

Yeah I think I would've preferred the long night being the last battle of the show and somehow everyone is in Kings Landing defending it against the White walkers. Although I'm sure by that point the army of the dead will triple in size.
Wasn't gonna happen I the show or the books not that those ever will finish so I think that was not an option. If you read George's extra stuff it's pretty clear the walkers were always going to be second to last threat

One of the things that made no sense to me is why didn’t Cersei just kill them all when they were at the gates of kings landing. We have the most pathetic display of an army with dany and like 12 unsullied and Cersei has 50 scorpions pointed at them. She could kill them all no problem.

Vince called it on episode 3. Dany just pulled an army out of her ass. I think the writers realized they wouldn’t have much a of show left if she had no one so they respawned her army.

You start to see the decline in quality. The stark children and Jon and Bran revealing who Jon was to Arya and Sansa and it being cut out really aggravated me. I am only just remembering how unacceptable that was. It would have been good after 8 seasons for them to find out he's their cousin and not their brother. This season wasnt that bad as people make it out to be but there is just so much going on with these last few episodes and its all so fast. If you enjoy the Targaryen stuff, check out House of the Dragon after this. Its amazing imo. New season comes out next month.
