EmuDeck 2.3.1 Unstable - EmuDeck Cloud
Hi! Seeing all the issues we have with some cloud providers for cloud saves I've decided to create my own.
This opens a lot of possibilities like having daily backups of your games in case you want to bring back some old save, a saves manager to delete and view saved games, etc.
Right now it "only" syncs saves between devices like any order provider, but the sky is the limit!

Where can I find it?
Any chance of this coming to Android as well? I'd love to have my PC, deck and Odin 2 synced.
HI, I can't get this cloud sync to work no matter what I try or do and nobody is replying on the discord. Can I get some assistance please?
About the Cloud Sync: I hate to install CHROME as a browser in my Bazzite OS Desktop PC, will there be in the future the possibility to use Firefox instead?
where doe the saves go for the emudeck cloud?
Do you no longer have an unstable Steam Deck option I went to update tonight and did not see it in the updates?
They have closed ryujinx, are you going to delete it from emudeck?
I guess we are doing a Yuzu, if you have it already we will apply the settings but since it's been taking down we can't install or update it
Stupid question, if I click upload all saves but I don't have any other devices switched on where is it uploading to?
to our cloud
Do i need two tokens for enabling sync saves? I've just supported via Patreon for using the sync service from my windows PC to Steam Deck
just log in every app, the tokens are not shareable
With the other Cloud providers (when they work) I'm able to sync between any other devices that can connect to SMB, OneDrive etc. I suppose this isn't going to be an option with EmuDeck Cloud?
think of this as the same as Steam Cloud
Interesting idea, will listen a while for how it goes. As an aside, please do make sure your settings as a self-hosted cloud provider admin err on the overly restricted/no-trust side; best to avoid as many vectors for compromise as possible. Especially as the overall project is looking into building various revenue streams.
Not even the user can connect outside of the EmuDeck scripts. If you are not a Patron you can't even connect, and even if you are a patron your password is encrypted and is only decrypted in our servers, and even if you somehow figure out the password you can't access anything but your own saves
So only device to device… but what protocol does it use?
sftp
Please don't disband making it work for the other providers. I have everything neatly stored on my personal Nextcloud instance and I don't want to have another cloud just for retro game saves.
Giving support for weird issues related to some cloud providers takes a lot of my time, time that I could be using doing new features. But don't worry, they are not going away for now at least.
This is fantastic. Thank you.
