You don't need to worry too much about that asteroid. It's big enough to do damage, but not big enough to wipe us out. It's been compared to the power of a large nuke. If it hits, it will definitely be a big deal, but it's not enough to be world ending.
20:28 Well the reason fushi was surprise was bc he felt the pain
i can say it now , Luke remember when you said tonali's group was walking dead zombies , well here we are you were right 🤭
Day 32 of recommending Vampire Knight openings
That asteroid should hit in 2032 so 7 y
Asteroid 2024 YR4 - *might* hit. Currently estimated as a 1 in 43 chance (just over 2%). Chances are the probability will drop to zero once better orbital data is obtained. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esk1hg2knno
I'll tell you why I decided to watch you and not 'nicholas light' or others. The reason is: Less words. Most reactors just don't keep their mouth shut OFF . They keep yapping or making sounds. I watched some "hxh" same scene with GON (you know what scene, the most epic scene in whole HxH) and the other reactors on that same scene: "OMG, OH GOSH, AAAAAA". Like bro can you like BE YOURSELF? can you ENJOY THIS SCENE????? Can you shut off your 'youtube persona' for a second to appreciate the scene itself? Nicholas light spoke about this I think in that same scene? I'm not sure, he said that he is not faking his reaction, but he is amplifying it. So if he feels an emotion he learned to push 500% energy into it. But that "energy" pulls me out of everything. It makes me feel like I watch a youtube video and not that I am rewatching a scene. Many scenes that you watch, I find myself so drawn to scene itself that I forget that I rewatch it with you. I basically re-live myself, that moment, after that I go back and look at your reaction as well. Which by the way, you were speechless that episode. You started it so happy, so chatty, so many words spoken to chat but then the scene came and SILENCE.... No reactor almost does this. So it's not about your ability to cry or be emotional, it's also about knowing when to shut up and let the viewer experience what he want to experience (the scene itself). You do a decent balance between speaking, expressing, etc.
So if to your eternity fails to make you cry, that's ok... Cuz this show is not about that, you'll see in S2/3. Sadness and ppl dying is part of the human life anyway, so growing numb is something you are supposed to feel. I have 2 grandmas. One died, the other was chill AF even tho they were life friends buddies. She saw so many ppl die, that in her head, everyone was dead, and when someone died: "oh it was her time". It's actually HUMAN to be numb so you don't need to explain to viewers that, it's just basically speedrunning through your emotions. So you are supposed to get Emotional exhaustion
I’m watching this show with you. They can totally be revived because next episode the guy in black is gunna teach fushi the ancient technique of revival right??? This totally isn’t copium. I totally wasn’t crying because of every single death. I totally don’t want this anime to just become a slice of life with everyone. No more knokkers, I said I won’t be sad then they died and then I was sad. At least sandal and Tonari get to live….. right? Somebody in this anime has to survive. Other than fushi. Obviously
25:20 lmao Luke your eyes are literally red as hell, not attached my ass 🤣🤣
Luke: I refuse! I ain't attaching! Yeh yeh we all been there, you're totally noooot gonna get attached
It’s interesting to me that you’ve given up on attachment to character deaths for this anime when you remained attached in shows like AOT, JJK, Frieren, Made in Abyss, Re:Zero, etc with constant/prominent death. Is it just from how fast it’s all happening that takes you out of it? I’m loving the difference in reaction lol
Idk this anime in particular made me want to not get attached but not the characters (not that it worked)
Luke I went over something similar. I grew up behind a computer from my 12 to today ... my father is not an emotional person who can only criticize and can not show emotions or pride and never actually praised me for anything even when I tried my whole life and I started working with him. I never had a goal in my life so I was just swept in the motion with everything. I was detached from my emotions because of that and I started pushing people away. I never let anyone too close and people who I did let close betrayed me. I'm 30 now and I do not know how to even find a job. I worked only with my father. So in my 30 I'm starting like if I was fresh out of school and that realization that I have to take responsibility for myself because my parents are older and older and that inevitability of aging and fact that my parents will one day die did fallen on me quite heavily. It's weird how you think it's easy that one day your loved one will be gone but it's far away so I do not have to think about it right now ... yea that feeling I had for 12 years. I lived like I was 18 almost 12 years. Nothing in my life changed. I did not change but everything around me did and when I woken up from that it was such a shock I emotionally overloaded and now I feel every emotion like 4 times. I'm not crying at everything but when I feel something I do feel it more intensely. It's weird. I always knew one day I will be left alone here (sister in half a world away in USA and I live in Czechia) but when I realized that it's different. Just rationally thinking about it isn't enough. You can tell yourself that you are prepared ... but you are not. Now since my 15 when I started to work with my father I will have to figure out what I want to do. I have no contacts. All my friends are 15 years gone to ask anyone. All I know as a worker from my job is worthless because you can not do this job alone and I have noone to turn to. 15 years doing one thing and I will have to change everything. It's scaring the living s..t out of me. It's not helping that my job what I do is in decline right now also.
Luke turning off the tear fountain for TYE? Ouch! Now the fanbase will be the ones crying! Welp, we'll have to wade through the rest of this rinse and repeat fest till the ecchi takes it's place. Wonder how Cold Luke will like ecchi?
It's been shown that Fushi feels the pain of others. I assume he looked back because she fell down and started hurting, but the Nokkers have never done something like this before. How could he guess that they'd invade her and take over? He was still reeling from the corpses being used. Plus he's definitely still a child mentally, being naïve and easily tricked. He's curious and intelligent in grasping things, but there's just so much he doesn't know.
I got attached each and every time and I have no regrets.
We've seen that the Nokkers can evolve (stone bear in ep 12) if you leave them alone so it was a good idea to go after them while they are weaker
Pressing x for doubt for the caption Fushi didn't know the red haired girl was even closer and couldnt tell they all assumed only corpses could be taken so there was no reason to think a knocker would be inside of her even with the tentacle wapped around her leg
I don't think leaning into all your emotions is good advice, I mean that's how psychopaths are created, just saying. 🤷♂️
You are mistaken, Fushi didn't know she was infected, he just turned around and saw her on the ground, otherwise he wouldn't of let the red haired girl approach her, only because he only turned around a split second before everyone else, he didn't know exactly what had happend, until the girl got stabbed.
