I first heard “soon you’ll get better” in 2023 sitting beside my mom’s hospital bed. It was in the middle of my living room. She had stage 4 cancer. Taylor is an amazing lyricist in every sense of the word, but that song hit me in a way that no other song ever could. It was like she wrote that song for me-it was a perfect portrayal of my life, apart from the fact that I knew my mom would never get better. I am so glad Taylor’s did.

My past diary entries are super dressing, lol. If anyone ever read them, they’d be shocked that I’m still alive and kicking.
