Hi Cinders!
There have been so many other fantasy turtle creations - but finally a SEA TURTLE! This is another model that has been asked for for awhile and I wanted to get it out to you all before summer! :)
I included an MMU file for multi color prints (for the eyes only). The post pictures are with multi-color printed eyes, but you can also paint them with black and while acrylic paint!
This is an easy and fast print! Tested between 100% & 60% for strength and articulation! Also tested with my kids and they were a big hit!

All my designs are print-in-place and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!
Print Settings: .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts)

will there be a key chain version made? ooooo or an earring version???? lol
You can add a keychain hole yourself, its an approved mod that anyone can do!
Any tips on getting the sparkly filament to work? Keeps failing on our Prusa 😢 Also been having problems printing 4 at a time... Love the turtles though so cute! When we don't have filament problems they are adorable and the kids are loving them!!
I'd always recommend drying first!

I printed one of these sea turtles and was playing around with it at McDonalds and my friend at the counter that works there had to ask me and make sure it wasnt a real turtle I was just pushing around💀😂😂 the way I was pushing it around made its arms like he was trying to swim 😂😂

have you had any trouble with that lycofens shiny filament sticking to the bed? i usually have no problem with bed adhesion but that particular one won’t stick to anything well without a brim
I have had other similar shiny filaments not stick. I found that blue tape, a bed temp about 65, nozzle temp about 195 and a slow print and travel speed works best for my Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro
