The Start of the Cave Tiles
As I mentioned in my last post, this year (or at least, for the next few months) I'll be working on a set of cave tiles to accompany the existing dungeons.
The plan is to create 3 or 4 a month ...and any remaining tiles (be they dungeons, more cave tiles, dungeon assets, and so on) will be up for discussion as normal.
Anyway here's the first four (a bunch of t-junction passages) ...so here's hoping you like them :)

Hooray for non-directional shadows!
It's probably not what you want to hear, but the plan is to continue using directional lighting I'm afraid ...as I just prefer the look. Sorry about that. I know that makes things slightly less useful when it comes to rotating them (and means I'll have to do multiple versions of most of the assets) ...but removing all lighting makes everything look too flat (or at least, too flat for my eyes) as you also lose texture highlights, and the shading/highlights on any bevels (like on the table edge in the image below), in addition to the shadows. https://i.postimg.cc/D0tY8xJP/no-light.jpg (note that I've actually reworked the one on the right to make it look a bit better - but I'm still not a fan ...and the more detailed the piece, the worse it looks*) *or at least that's the effect I get with my 'drawing' technique :(
