286 - My Merch Not By Me.
Happy Monday cherished bros. To avoid confusion let me state right away that all the pictures I am sharing in this post were not taken by me. Well, with that out of the way, let's get started!
Alright, so there is is one wonderful guy that goes by the name of MrLazare that every now and then shares very interesting pictures on my discord. Some examples you can see right here. Keep in mind he does this completely on his own time and with his own money. And does a pretty damn good job too. Some of these stickers look absolutely fantastic.
MrLazare did offer to send me some of these to me for free, and to be honest I simply could not refuse. He also offered to maybe send a few of them to 10 or some of my top followers (completely for free). But I don't know about that. The logistics of that all scares me. All I know these stickers look absolutely fantastic.
Alright, as we continue to gawk at this stickery goodness let us discuss the important stuff -- the work. Although to be honest there is not much to discuss. I continue to work the endings. Some things go wrong, some parts need re-writes. I test, I write, I test some more and I write some more.
The good news is that the final bits of the game are finally taking proper shape. By the way, I decided to go with classy names for the endings: such as "default ending", "secret ending", "true ending" and so on. This week will continue to work on the ending stuff. Wish me luck. (And thank you for your patience).
And that is all I have to share. This was supposed to be another proof of life post, but thanks to MrLazare I at least had some cool pics to share. Anyway, thank you for your support and I will see you all next Monday.

Yeah would love to get my hands on some of this merch.
Hi! The official Akabur's shop is here : https://akabur.creator-spring.com/ with tee shirts and mugs (I bought one) You can also find some stuff there, I think it's also "official": https://censored-gaming.creator-spring.com/
Thanks, man.
Those look amazing. I really need to know if there is a way to get my hands on this deck of cards. Also, this reminds me. There was a shop with t-shirts, is it still around? I wanted to get one when my financial situation gets better. Keep up the good work Aka. I will be waiting patiently. And please let me(us) know when you finish Kotor and how did you like the entire thing!
I didn't update it in ages, but if you buy anything there I will still get paid so, if you feel like it, please do ;) https://akabur.creator-spring.com
Cards looks amazing! Great job, MrLazare!
Thank you!
This week's gif is from: Jak and Daxter (Tess to be specific)
Ashelin is still the best though.
Fine take my money! I can't get the mouse or desk pad (I want to stay married) but some card and stickers? You need to send Purity some.
XD
Mr Lazare seems to have a big problem with stickers... Perhaps he should see a doctor... Now, we're not going to lie, if these stickers are cool, it's thanks to Akabur's drawings. Frankly, I didn't do anything except pay for them to be printed... If anyone's interested in making some, I went through the "sticker mule" website, which is fortunately very tolerant of images with educational content. I've also tried "prettygoodstickers" which seems to be also good. I have no financial interest in them, and there must be quite a few others, to check that they're OK to print the images we love. As Akabur said, I won't be selling any of them. Some of my "stock" will go to Akabur, which is the least I can do, and we'll think about whether there's a simple way of sending some free of charge to his most loyal supporters. Thanks in any case for all your kind words about these stickers, even if once again all the credit goes to our favourite creator/game designer! I can't wait to make soon (*) stickers with the Queen Trainer 1 characters...
Hi! Just sent me a private message on Akabur discord Channel and i will send them to you in the next 24H
If these are for sale and you get a cut there’s quite a bit I would buy. The cards and stickers definitely.😈
I would buy them myself to be honest. They look too cool.
Interesting, if MrLazare cuts you in on the profits I'll consider some purchases, they look pretty awesome!
If he did start selling these I am sure he would. But logistic of all that looks like a full time job T_T
Is this an endorsement of these products or a warning? I'd like to get a set of the playing cards but if you aren't getting compensated for your work then I'm no so interested.....
Was I that unclear in my post? T_T This is definitely not a warning. MrLazare is a great guy, and he is doing this for fun with his own money, that's all.
Damn I wish we lived in a world where you could just see random men and women having these stickers on their gear, it would be like, ah! I see a fellow man of culture. And you go up to them and ask them "who rules?" and form a new friendship. ahaha. These stickers look really dope!
In some parallel universe it's already a thing. We must believe.
how wonderful! you deserve all that support and affection, I'm a fan of those coasters
Thanks! XD
Shut up and take my money!
XD
Awesome merchandising
I know, right? 0_0 XD
Would definitely buy everything, especially the coasters!
Me too. XD
The quality of that merch looks really good. Definitely interested if Mr. Lazare opened a store.
I doubt he has the time for that. I would not be against it though.
👏 To Mr.Lazare!
Holy shit an Akabur Card deck ? COUNT ME IN :D
Is there a link to buy all the merch? I would buy the shit out of the cards and mousepad!
For the stickers I mainly used the https://www.stickermule.com/ website, ordering custom samples so as not to print too many each time. There's also https://www.prettygoodstickers.com/ which is pretty good, with the option of printing in gloss. For playing cards, I used a French site, https://www.smartphoto.co.uk/photo-gifts/regular-cards, but I'm not completely satisfied with the result. The cards look good in the photo, but I find them too thin and not 'slippery' enough compared with commercial playing cards. And for the mouse pad, it's custom made from a french website (i don't think there is an english version) : https://www.tapis-gamer.com/ Hope it helps
