Continuation of Tess: Coffee...

Tess: “Come on, Lauren. Don’t make such a fuss.”
Lauren, a few steps away, blinks in surprise.
Lauren: “Oh… uh… right now?”
Tess: “Yes, right now. I want a picture of us together before we head out.”
Lauren: “I probably look all rumpled.”
Tess: “Nonsense. You look gorgeous. Besides—if you don’t come here, I’ll take an embarrassing picture of you from over here.”
Lauren raises an eyebrow, unable to hide a smile.
Lauren: “Alright, alright… but only one photo. They are waiting for us”.
Tess: “Of course. Just one quick shot.”

Lauren now stands next to Tess, a bit unsure but smiling as she wraps an arm around her. Tess immediately moves closer, her shoulder brushing Lauren’s side.
Lauren: “Like this? Is that enough?”
Tess: “Hm… almost.”
Lauren: “Tess…”
Tess: “Hold still.”

Tess lifts her hand, gently brushing a loose strand of hair from Lauren’s face. She leans in, her lips brushing Lauren’s cheek.
