Development News 34 - Concepting Willing Temptations v0.3
Willing Temptations v0.3 is at 10%
Before we get into WT, Recreational Visitors can check out Lasting Connections v0.2 right now. It will be available to all supporters next week and will be open publicly soon thereafter. All the changes I mentioned have been made, and you got a small new content there as well. So, check it out if you haven't yet.
Now, onto Willing Temptations v0.3.
Seeing new faces up top, and that is because right now, the plan is to get them involved in v0.3, and I should say it again, v0.3 or rather, Phase 3 is bigger than the previous two phases of the game, combined.
But let me explain how and why that is the case.
The idea of Phase 3 is that you go on a date with your wife. Except, you will be able to choose how to go about it in 3 different ways.
Two of them are vanilla choices. It's sweet, loveable, but there are ways to ruin the date with some elements of third party. A new character you can encounter is in one of them. You'll have to navigate through the dates playfully and make a memorable moment with Lexi. But I can promise, NTR options are optional and avoidable on these two routes.
As for the third choice. It is a full-blown NTR route, featuring characters from my postponed project and a gut-wrenching story. So, if you're not into hardcore cheating stuff, it gets especially bad, but I'm not cutting corners just because.
These three choices of dates will be extensive, and it'll take a while to complete. v0.3 will not have all of Phase 3, the same way v0.1 doesn't have all of phase 1, same thing with Phase 2 and v0.2. There are a lot of dialogue options I haven't done, but I'm moving on to Phase 3 anyway, because this is where things picks up.
Obviously, right now I'm still working on the scripts, I just released LC's v0.2 so go check that out in the meanwhile.
But from what I can tell you though, these choices you make are vastly different from one another and will lead to branching paths separate from one another, at least until you get to phase 4, but that's a whole other topic.
Unlike Phase 1 and 2 which are contained within this safe morning timeline of valentine, Phase 3 span across multiple days in quick succession. These 3 choices will determine how you will end the valentine day, but the story will keep going to its aftermath. The decision you make, shapes your relationship with Lexi.
It's all very exciting, but don't get too hyped up, it's gonna take a while for me. I'm saving up to get a used thinkpad laptop so I can work on these projects remotely anywhere.
