Meanwhile, here’s some behind the scenes artwork from the creation of my last comic. This story was a long time coming, mostly because - honestly- it was scary trying to do something so different. I hope you don't mind me playing around like this, it's how I explore new ideas. (Also in this case it was just blowing off some frustration at Hollywood. More sequels? Really?)
For the record, as well as The Permi Faradox, I also considered the titles:
Armageddon Outta Here, and Dumdependance Day. 🤷♂️
Anyway, I currently have two new stories underway - one for you peeps, and one for general sharing - so you won't have long to wait.
Damn, it's so great to feel a new wave of inspiration!

Hi Ahouassou! Mostly just the 6b Pencil and the Bonobo Chalk.
I honestly have enjoyed everything you've done thus far, so please keep experimenting if it keeps the creative juices flowing and the new works coming ;)
Thanks Kimberly- that’s good to hear. It can be nerve wracking wanting to try something new when you know your supporters know you for a specific style. I’ve heard horror stories from content creators being yelled at by their audience for branching out into something different. But I’ve actually felt really supported so far!

Sorry, I’m so wrapped up in my stuff I haven’t had a proper look at your last. I always have to set aside some “Base Time” to savor your work - and I won’t short-change myself. That’s why I love subscribing on Patreon, so you’re not dependent on my muse in addition to yours 👍
Totally. It's so important to find time for your own muse rather than than just being reactive to everyone else's. I'm sure that's been a thing forever, but it also feels really pertinent now.
Were you not feeling inspired?
I've just been struggling to juggle my day job with doing these comics. Doing my own stories would be the priority if I had a choice, but I also need to pay the bills. So deciding on a new strategy has definitely energized me!
