I really hope you reconsider this. I support you on here because I love the work you do on Webtoon. Reading your comics every week always brings a smile to my face, and I consider my donations here to be investing in that small joy. I could care less about getting exclusive content on here, I support you every month because I want to see you succeed. Don't feel obligated to give us something extra when we're already happy with what you do now.

If I'm part of the refund, don't bother. I support you because I like your work, I don't need anything for that. And good luck with all the endeavors, I will continue to follow you other places.

Chiming in with everyone else here. I like giving to my fav artists, just to encourage more good things in the world. Your work brings me joy, and I'm happy to have the chance to give back!

Others have already said it, but yeah, I don't pledge here to have exclusive content, I just do it to support you, because I think what you're doing is worth supporting. I think this is pretty much the same as supporting open source free software, devs are doing it for free and don't give anything exclusive to people donating, but people still donate because they like what the devs are doing. So yeah, even though I don't give a lot per month, I'd really like to still be able to do it, because you're currently one of my favorite comic artists. (btw, the book is awesome, I'm glad I pre-ordered it)

I pledged fully knowing it was a tip jar. I understand needing to cut back, so I won't pressure you to change your decision, but know that I had no expectations and no regrets in sending some small token of support. You were the very first person I followed before having an account on here. :)

I didn't pledge to you so I could get exclusives, I did it so I could support your work! I really don't care if you're giving us anything extra here - just make the things you want to make. :)

Hey Shen, We love your work. As others have said we're here to support you and I at least am not looking for anything in return. I totally get the need to simplify your life. I hope simplifying makes things easier for you and takes the pressure off.

I love your work and have always enjoyed your comics, they put a smile on my face even on bad days and to me that's priceless. Hi Shen, I don't think you should delete your patreon! I don't even come on this site often, just check my email notifications. I know it's not a lot, but I'm happy to support you every month because I appreciate the work it takes you to do your comic and I want you to know that, not because I demand exclusive content or behind the scenes updates into your life. I just want you to be able to support yourself!

Hi Shen, I don't ever come on Patreon but I have a handful of people I pledge to. I don't pledge for exclusive content but for content creators who give out free content that I consume on other platforms. I read your comics on webtoon and reddit, and thus wanted to support you somehow. I hope you keep your Patreon open.

Hey, same as everyone else, I just wanted to let you know I didn't decide to support you here to get exclusive content, but because I think you deserve to get something for all your work and all the enjoyment you've brought us over the years.

If someone has complained about the lack of updates feel free to give them money back. The rest of us seem fine giving you money to support your creative work (I love Bluechair). Personally I think you should leave this page up but do what you feel is best.

I am with everybody here. I don't want anything in return and I don't want to fill up my house with stuffed dolls. Please take my couple of dollars every month with nothing in return but the stuff you already do. That's all we want.

I love your work. As some others said, I don't mind not receiving anything special. To be honest, most artists I support don't give anything special and I don't mind. This isn't a subscription, we can stop supporting you whenever we don't want to give you money anymore so I don't think you should feel bad. That being said, if it puts stress and pressure on you, better stop and feel better. Take care :)

I regularly reread your comics, and they always bring a tear to my eyes and a smile to my face. So let me continue to support you, even if it's not much every month!

I would like you to keep the patreon open, it's not a free money to you, it's a support for the art we know you keep doing and we love it. If you are worry to having to management a lot of accounts as you expressed in Tapas, I would suggest to keep patreon and only post something once a month, change your tiers to say that you are not giving anything In return and let people decide if they want to give you money, specially if you are in a tight budget. Your comics are really good and they are worth money, so don't close this platform just don't give it maintenance, we are more that happy to send money if that means we can still have a comic from you in Twitter, Instagram or Facebook o whatever you decide to use

Same here, I didn't decide to pledge for exclusive contents, I just find it normal to support people who create things that I like. Especially when they're in a bad place. I beg you to reconsider, take that money if it means you can go on drawing as usual. You can even use it to fund your pledges if they mean something to you. Just let us thank you with our (quite small) monthly contributions 👌

+1 on the crowd that exclusives aren’t a make-or-break thing we need. Anyway, if you *do* shut down, let us know your list of currently supported projects - I’m sure some peeps here would love to divert the funds to projects with the Shen seal of approval (and, equally important, to read them!). Another vote for please, take our money, we don't need anything exclusive. I participate in patreon to support artists I want to support. I don't ask anything in return but that they keep producing art.

Yeah same here. I more or less never pledge to creators for extras, I mostly do it because I appreciate their work and want to support them so they can continue creating for us all. I always prefer content to be available to everyone than only to patrons as it means more people can enjoy it. Anyway, thanks a lot for all of your hard work, and please don't feel bad, it has been worth it to me ever since the beginning :D

Are you sure? I'm happy to keep paying despite not getting anything exclusive. Especially if you're in a tight financial situation. Part of me even wants to increase my donation! In fact, I'd rather support you a little bit monthly and enjoy your comic online than worry about buying physical stuff. I think there are probably many who feel this way. You're in no way forcing us to support you and so there's no reason to feel guilty about it. ☺️

Do what you think is right, but I didn't sign up for extra content. I enjoy your work when I see it on Twitter other platforms, so I was happy to give something back. Since I don't live in the US, shipping costs unfortunately make buying from websites like yours (and other similar creatives) prohibitive (And trying avoid Amazon too). Best of luck.

There's no need for anything exclusive! Your normal, freely available comics are worthy of financial support! Keep taking our money please, don't worry about providing anything exclusive.
