[1 new SWORDS episode]

I spent some time with friends this week. I finally put some feelings I've been keeping to myself for a long time into words. Definitely good for me.

In the last couple of weeks I've been posting to 8+ subreddits religiously at 9:45 am and pm, and scheduling Facebook posts 4 times a day. It's actually quite a lot of admin, so it's changed my workflow for making comics a bit. You've probably noticed! I'll need some time to get into a good flow state.

Having said that, I plan to absolutely brute force the process by doing Swordtember once again, and I'm adding another layer of Patreon stretch goals below for people to support me through that process so I don't burn out.

Just for fun - if 100 people sign up today, I'll go full Goblin Mode and finish 26 Arming Sword to Zweihander episodes before September 1st.

I'm a simple creature. If I put in effort and I get a reward, I'm more inclined to participate in the same behaviour again. I love an experiment too, so it will be interesting to see if daily new content over September noticeably improves ad revenue.

A group of very engaged readers on Facebook are getting pretty ancy about the Demon Sword story arc being on a cliffhanger. I'll keep their feelings in mind when I'm done.

I'm probably going to apply to showcase Cut The Deck at the New Zealand Game Developers Conference at the end of September, in Auckland - which means I gotta get Choplet's Dungeon even more polished and locked-in for one last round of playtesting. I don't want production to slip away just because we're not taking it to Kickstarter. I've never actually done any event as "Swords" in Auckland and it's well overdue. It would give me a good reason to check out the NZ Makes Comics exhibit too.
