[03.09] New update & Info 💚

I keep getting questions about my save file and game updates, so here’s a quick explanation!

Generally, a Sims 4 save file released before a game update should still work normally after the game is updated. So, if you downloaded my save at a certain point, you should be able to continue using it with future game updates.

✅ Normal game patches: Your save should remain playable.
✅ New packs/kits: The save will still load, any new content simply won’t be included in that version of the save.
⚠️ Major game changes/bugs: Occasionally, an update can affect existing saves, especially if EA changes a system that the builds or gameplay rely on.

If a future update causes a known issue, I will test the save and release an updated version if necessary.

For anyone concerned, I’m also releasing a new version of the save updated with the latest game version from August 25, 2026, so you can use the most up-to-date version!

Mirage Canyon

Mirage Canyon is where Palm Springs charm meets retro desert glamour. With colorful mid-century architecture, art deco details, palm-lined streets, and a little bit of old-school Hollywood flair, this neighborhood feels like it’s stuck in the best possible decade.

There’s plenty to do around here, whether you’re checking into the retro motel, spending the day at the community pool and gym, or exploring the Backroom lot, which hides a museum and library during the day and turns into a nightclub after dark. For a night out, head to the local restaurant and movie theatre for dinner, drinks, and a classic movie.

Skyward Palms is a quiet Mediterranean-inspired neighborhood filled with warm Spanish architecture, palm trees, stucco homes, and sunny outdoor spaces. It’s a mix of everyday residential life and a few more upscale properties, with a local bar giving the neighborhood a place to unwind in the evenings.

The neighborhood includes a five-unit rental building, with two apartments available to move into, one furnished and one left empty for a fresh start. The Caliente family lives in a large Spanish-style mansion, while an abandoned house sits nearby, waiting for someone to bring it back to life.

COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

The community bar isn’t just another lot in the neighborhood, it’s a CHALLENGE for everyone! The lot is available for everyone to download from the Gallery, and the goal is to turn the abandoned house behind the bar into the perfect home for a family who runs the bar as a Small Business instead of keeping it as a Community Lot.

You can completely transform the space and make it your own, but there are a few rules to keep in mind:

Challenge Rules

• 🏡 Use all packs.

• 🚫 Do NOT remove the exterior walls of either the house or the bar.

• ✨ Everything else can be changed, removed, or redesigned.

• ➕ You can add anything you want: walls, half walls, spandrels, friezes, floors, balconies, roofs, etc.

• 🚫 Do NOT combine the two buildings or overlap them. They must remain separate.

• 🔄 You can rotate either building shell or switch their positions on the lot.

• 🍹 You can leave the bar as it is or completely redesign it.

• 🎨 Make the abandoned house into a functional, beautiful family home that fits the bar-owning family you imagine!

Parched Prospect

Parched Prospect is a laid-back Mid-Century neighborhood with clean lines, warm interiors, and a mix of family homes, rentals, and small local businesses. It has a little bit of everything, from quiet residential streets to a busy family-run business that keeps the neighborhood feeling lived-in.

There are two residential rental lots here. The first features two Mid-Century Modern homes—one occupied by a household of roommates, while the other is ready for a family looking to settle in. The second rental has three units: a larger house occupied by the Lothario household, plus a small duplex with two apartments that are perfect for starting fresh.

Nearby, you’ll find a beautifully designed Mid-Century family home with a master bedroom, kids’ room, and home office, as well as a smaller starter home. There’s also a rental and Small Business lot where the resident family runs a local multi-purpose business featuring a tattoo parlor, bubble tea shop, fast food diner, laundromat, and retail store.

Acquisition Butte

Acquisition Butte is the most exclusive corner of Oasis Springs, where money, status, and old-world elegance come together. Dominated by the Landgraab estate, this upscale neighborhood is all about grand Mediterranean architecture, manicured gardens, luxurious outdoor spaces, and the kind of privacy only the wealthiest Sims can afford.

Right next door to the Landgraab mansion is a beautifully designed recreation center, giving the neighborhood a more social side. Spend a relaxing afternoon by the pool, get energized with a cycling session, shoot some hoops, or gather with friends and family for a party, wedding, or special event. Whether you’re here to show off your wealth or simply enjoy the amenities, Acquisition Butte is where desert luxury meets resort-style living.

Bedrock Strait

Bedrock Strait is a quiet desert neighborhood with a strong adobe-inspired character, warm earthy tones, simple architecture, and plenty of open space. It feels a little more peaceful and secluded than the rest of Oasis Springs, with its low-rise homes and sun-baked surroundings.

The neighborhood is mostly residential, with four uninhabited adobe-style homes waiting for new families, couples, or Sims looking for a fresh start in the desert. For a little escape from everyday life, there’s also a local spa where you can spend the day relaxing, getting pampered, or enjoying some much-needed downtime.

How to Download and Install Save Files in The Sims 4

• Download the Save File:

  • Click the download link provided in the post to download the file.

  • Once the download is complete, find the .zip file in your Downloads folder or wherever your files are saved.

• Extract the File:

  • Right-click on the downloaded .zip file and choose "Extract All".

Place the Save File in Your Sims 4 Saves Folder:

• Copy the file you downloaded into your Sims 4 saves folder. The typical location for this folder is:

  • Windows: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves

• Mac: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves

• Check for Existing Save Files:

  • Before pasting, make sure not to overwrite any saves you want to keep. You can rename the downloaded save file by changing the slot number (e.g., Slot_00000001.save) to avoid conflicts.

• Launch The Sims 4:

  • Open The Sims 4 and go to the main menu. Click "Load Game," and you should see the new save file in your list.

• Enjoy Your New Save File!

  • Click on the save and start playing to explore all the new builds and features!

❗ This save file includes content from all packs but you can still download and enjoy the save without having all the packs, but keep in mind that some sims and builds may be missing certain items.❗
