i a getting a BE exception error please fix

Ok, So I was struggling with a few things not working for me with this mod but my issue ended up being that I had my stuff in subfolders. When I put the downloads in the original Mod folder rather than putting it into my own "Food" Folder this resolved several issues for me: 1. Sim not finishing cooking food 2. text description not showing in game. Putting the downloads in the main Mod folder could have also helped if it maybe needing to be in the same folder as the Lot 51 idk. But again not adding it to sub folders fixed everything for me. Hope this helps someone! Also after getting it to work properly I went ahead and downloaded a bunch more of qmbibi's mods cause they are amazing!!! I even subscribed for best besty. I will deff support a cc creator who is putting in this much work ! I love family gameplay and this adds so much realism and I love that it isn't forced I can still enjoy the game if I chose not to use the mods but when I want to I can get some oxtails and beef patties plus way more without having to go find many indv recipes!!!!

Hi QMBibi, My name is Keli, and I have been playing The Sims since I was young. I can honestly say that I have never loved a mod the way I love yours. It is truly up there for me with WickedWhims and some of the other iconic mods in the community. It's one of those mods where the game just doesn't feel complete without it. Reading some of the comments, I can understand why people may get frustrated because, trust me, I was frustrated too when I couldn't get your mod to work. I recently got a new gaming laptop (an Acer Nitro with 1TB storage, hehe), and your mod was literally one of the first mods I downloaded. To my surprise, it wasn't working. I spent FIVE days trying to figure it out, and today I finally got it working. And guess what I had to do? Follow your instructions exactly as written! I admit that I sometimes assume I know what I'm doing and skip steps, but this time I told myself, "Let me actually read and follow everything properly." Sure enough, it worked! I cannot even explain how happy I am. It honestly made my game feel complete again. I truly don't know what I was going to do without your mod. As a Black woman, it means so much to have foods and cultural representation in my game. The culture truly thanks you. You make The Sims feel personal and like home. Please never stop doing what you're doing. Anytime you feel unappreciated or feel like people are being ungrateful, please remember that there are players like me who eagerly wait for every update, every new food item, and every pack you create. We genuinely appreciate every bit of work and time you put into this mod. Thank you for making our gameplay experience so much richer and more meaningful. when I click the cookbook and the sim makes the recipe they cant eat it same with the bar cart they cant drink it gives an animation error

Question do I need to install the stalls as well for the tablet to work with the delivery from different stores?

None of the recipes finish now when i cook

The grocery aspect of this mod seems not to be working for me anymore. I can order food from the restaurants on the tablet but unable to but ingredients or groceries from the tablet. Have no idea what the issue is.

Barely any of my recipes are showing up for me in game. And even my International one is greyed out. I have everything updated and installed correctly, including no ds store and deleting the macosx folder, but nothing is helping

I saw the Ackee and I was thinking "what sorcery is this..." and proceeded to by 10 cans. I haven't found the Ackee and Saltfish recipe yet. Do you have one of those "But me a coffee" options? I just discovered this mod. I was guilty of not reading the instructions. But i went back and read the installation instructions and it worked. What I did figure out also is if your Sim does not start prep you probably have a CC fridge that is not compatible. If they are getting the food but not prepping your CC counter is the issue. Prepped but not cooking its the CC stove. Cooking but not serving the food your CC counter is not compatible. I have noticed that my game does seem to freeze up now so I am not sure if I missed something.

When I try to select what type of recipe to cook the menus to select what to cook doesn’t appear. Am I the only one?

For some reason my grab and go is only showing oreos? Not sure why I have purchased like the cereals via the delivery but its still not showing in the grab and go- basically making the cerals non functional

Updated Lot51 and finally got the cookbook to show up without throwing any exceptions! But all of the recipes except for the salads/sandwiches are gone. I'm pretty close to giving up lol, which is really a shame because this is one of my favorite food mods :(

I am not able to put food away in the fridge and put books away whit this update, I just remove it from my mods file and now they can store everthing again, please help

I have deleted all the .DS Stores, and re-downloading everything and get script fails for the stirring pot and tablet. I have the game updated and every pack. My express delivery has been bugged to where I can only order one thing from each delivery. I even tried to repair my game. Any other ideas? I love these mods and playing without them aren't the same!

Just updated my game to version 1.118.257 and better exceptions tells me express delivery and cookbook mod and recipes are not compatible

I got it working. Didn't realize Lot 51 was updated, so I did that. Tried to avoid updating my game because updating all mods are a train wreck but it wasn't terrible for once. Lol. This works now, BUT Family Recipes is still blank in-game.

Came back to say it works perfectly if files are deleted as instructed.

Hi there, I know people here are already telling you that their last exception is telling them that its broken but i would like to let you know that this mod didnt even let me start my game- basically when i clicked on start, opened task manager i saw the sims starting and then it just shutted off. Just a little heads up, idk if it will help you but take your time

Hey first off, I want to say I LOVE YOUR CONTENT....I was wondering if you knew why my sim stops preparing the custom meals you made. I purchased all the ingredients in the game in order to make the food & I also downloaded everything you require but I'm still having issues.

i am getting last exceptions from your mods, especially thee sandwich maker, instant pot, and salad bowl as well as multiple recipes (they're from the updated 4/21 zip file). i literally have every single required mod for whatever i downloaded.

My sims cant cook anything all the way through. They stop half way. Does it need updating?

Well thank you to the person that reported that the recipes had an update that needed to be installed. Now the updates work fine. I am going to send a message to Qmbibi and suggest that she list all possible needed updates when she updates the cookbook and tablet. She does not always have time to respond, but she does get the messages and using them to fix and correct things.

As I said in another post: TwistedMexi mod is nice, but it is not perfect. It will often flag things that it just doesn't understand. His mods sometimes miss the mark. I am not having any issues with the tablet, and MCCommand does not report any problems. My suggestion is that you not rely on Mexi's mod as an indicator.

Hi, So...last exception flagged this Mod as an issue. Better Exceptions said it was 100% the cause of my game messing up.

Here is what I did that works. I update the tablet and the groceries. That fixed some previous issues I'd had. However I had the same issue with the updated cooking mod itself so I too reverted back to 12 for that only. This seems to be the best combo.

For some reason I now can't load any of my saves after I updated to the newest version today> this is one of my fav mods so I don't just want to delete it completely someone please help < when i try to ask chat gpt it gives me this >A food object (a plate of food) is trying to change state — like becoming "spoiled" or being rated for "quality" — but it’s missing its recipe data (NoneType means no data). When the game tries to call get_base_recipe(), it crashes because there's no recipe to pull from.>>> any idea what i have to do to fix this?

none of the stp recipes are showing, there's still only 2 recipes for me and the other categories are blank i keep updating my mods when you post an update and all my recipes were working before the updated recipe files came out. i have no conflicts due to me literally having all your mods in game for months now all the sudden the food doesn't show :((

Please update this again!! It’s broken! I tried to load into my save and got a critical last/better exception and it was from one of ur recipes (Spinach Dip). I had to delete my sims refrigerator and all the plates. If anyone is having the same problem please take ur MCCC Last exception to the Sims After Dark discord server and they will help you.

Y’all the LE your getting is in regards to the TABLET. I took the ingredient crafting out the cookbook completely, so when the tablet is trying to load all its interactions it can’t find the ingredient one, throwing LE. It’s okay and the tablet has an update coming once I do the other updates coming LOL ♥️
