More Movies Per week?🎞️🎬
Back in the day, I only made movie reactions, not a single TV show reaction in sight. I started doing more TV shows because, at the time, that worked better for me on YouTube. And I think, personally, I just loved the ongoing community aspect of discussing a TV show as we go, unlike a movie, which is one-and-done. However, one-and-dones still have their place and benefits.
HOWEVER!!! I honestly haven't cared much about the YouTube aspect of my channel for a while, cause it hasn't been working much for me. So it got me thinking, why do I still do so few movies? Why not ask the people who consume it what they think? Get the conversation going.
For starters, 2 movies a week instead of 1? Just wanted to know what you guys thought about that. But DO REMEMBER, that would mean reducing the number of TV shows I'm covering at a time. Currently covering 8 TV shows, which might be reduced to 7 or 6 (depending on whether some of the current shows are 30-minute or 1hr episodes).
This poll will not be definitive of what I choose to do. As I said above, I just wanna get the conversation going, and a poll is an effective way to get feedback, especially for people who never comment. Look forward to hearing from yall🫡

I love me a good tv show but I’m much more of a movie reaction person except for very specific shows. I’ll support you either way cause I love your channel but yeah I prefer the movie reactions
Definitely more movies! You can experience a wide variety of stories and characters in less time!
I don't think it's a bad idea to do two movies while still keeping up with some of the shows you're watching. I'm honestly more into movies and while I do watch shows from time to time, most of the ones I watch are anime.
The movies that come to mind for me right now are just the tip of the iceberg. Here's just a few classics, all with great actors. You may have already viewed some of them. And I realize some are not pre-60s, but you are young, Frank, and may not have seen them. I won't repeat any titles if already mentioned below here. A Raisin in the Sun-1961 Harvey-1950 The Maltese Falcon-1941 Guess Who's Coming to Dinner-1967 The Champ-1979 On Golden Pond-1981 Shane-1953 Carmen Jones-1964 Vertigo-1958 Rear Window-1954 To Sir with Love-1967 The Graduate-1967 Dog Day Afternoon-1975 In the Heat of the Night-1967 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest-1975 Marathon Man-1976 Papillon-1973 The Sting-1973 All the President's Men-1976 Lady Sings the Blues-1972 The Bad Seed-1956 Rosemary's Baby-1968 Imitation of Life-1959 The Great Escape-1963 Cool Hand Luke-1967 Some Like it Hot-1959 The Untouchables-1987
I’m firmly in the "please, more movies" camp. Although some of your TV show reactions have opened me up to more series as well, films are still my favorite medium. Maybe a little expedition into the world of classics here and there might be surprisingly refreshing, despite the age of the underlying 35mm film. A few suggestions for starters (a very incomplete list): Citizen Kane (1941) 12 Angry Men (1957) Ben-Hur (1959) Fail Safe (1964) The Godfather (1972) Of course, I also have some newer movies to suggest for another occasion. 🙂
He has The Godfather in his library! :)
If it doesn't stop or slow down your reactions to TWD and OITNB I would love to have 2 movie reactions a week!🙂
I love your movie reactions. Maybe occasionally, you can have games or contests and the winner gets to pick what you watch next. Lol.
I love this idea, but anytime I've done something like this or even sponsored movies in the past. It's usually some obscure movie that only a handful of people have seen. which, as an individual, I enjoy discovering new hidden gems. But as a channel, I need more than a handful of people knowing and engaging with the movie to make it worthwhile, ya know
I always prefer tv series because I also enjoy the long form community aspect of ongoing shows! I’ve never been a big movie watcher, and I don’t keep up with many of the shows that are on these days. I’m here for the Frank aspect of things lol so I say if you wanna jump back to doing more movies, you should! I think the art of film is getting a bit lost in the current world of YT and streaming. Might be nice to cover movies you haven’t seen that you’d like to share!
I feel you
as long as oitnb isn’t affected i’m cool with whatever 🙂↕️
🤞🏾🤞🏾
If you decide to do more movies, let us know where we can make recommendations. Also curious if you'd consider doing old classic films and/or documentaries. Thanks! I'd def be more game with different types of films.
Oh yes, so many classic films out there worth watching.
I'm much more of a TV series gal, but I'm game for whatever is most popular among the majority of patrons.
I have no idea what does or doesn't work on YouTube - I can only say dropping stuff there only after you have the whole series available here is what got you this subscription.
🙏🏾
I am here and seated regardless!
I don't watch half as many TV shows as other people so a lot of the time I'm not very interested in the TV shows you're reacting to, especially as my preferences rarely win the polls. Personally I'd enjoy seeing more movie reactions - though again my choices may never win! 😄
2 slots make it more likely for your choices to win
If I’m only interested in maybe 1 in 3 of the shows/movies that get chosen, movies cycle through so much faster than shows. Shows have their unique strengths as well, for sure, but a more even split sounds great.
For sure
2 movies a week would be fine with me. Either way really. But if you do go with 2 a week, maybe have them from different genres?
Agree, if 2 per week, from different genres would be very nice. Even if 2 movies per week, there are so many films out there worth watching, you would not run out.
