Can someone launch a regular small telescope into space? Are Moon caves stable enough for a permanent base? What happened to the Swift rescue mission? And in Q&A+, was the asteroid belt a planet at some point?

Dude Lanterns is cool
The mass of the asteroid objects combined blows my mind! It’s like basically scraps of solar system bits. But it raises 2 questions for me. 1. Is there any more stuff there compared to anywhere else in the solar system (other than Planetary orbits)? 2. It the total mass is only 5% of the moon, is that enough to make a dwarf planet? I didn’t realize the moon is so much bigger than a small dwarf planet!! Crazy
Silo is my top series!
Now you’re in England Fraser, there’s no more rowtes, and we talk about aluminium, not aloominum 😊. If you ever get to Newcastle, you can look me up!
If you build a structure, as tall as the 'EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, in a moon cave, and someone DROP A PENNY off the top, despite the really weak gravity, and ignoring the lack of a helmet in a vacuum, would the penny KILL him? I asked this, rather than Google, for FUN. If you read this, play with it, x metres tall, s=ut + 1/2 (at squared), Moon g = 9.81/6 approx m x (m squared) per second... you know the rest, I'd love to see people type out their workings as it enters their heads. My gut feeling, I'll calculate later, is that it would be fatal.
Mr James in fact you indeed could drop something as simple as an “ant” let alone something what 100 gazillion times heavier … This is not speculation yet built on physics and a principle discovered originally and the perfected by other something in “ my stupid memory of “science as “ similitude””
I hope that you enjoy travelling around our great country ( uk 🇬🇧 ) Fraser, and get out into the country side 😊
You want Elon Musk to have telescopes on every satellite? You're not watched, tracked, monitored, logged and algorithm-ed, enough?
These bright exposed to sunlight pieces of glass, just might add to the light pollution problem. I want less bloody spy-sats. I want to buy a car and a barrery, that I will own, and will open and start with a key, no mobile phone, no app, no updates, no losing tech support. I want to buy stuff, not rent the ideas that make it keep working, please, please someone help me withthis.
