[Interview+] We Were Wrong About Europa’s Sub-Surface Ocean
Europa is considered one of the most promising places in the solar system to look for extraterrestrial life. But new studies suggest that we were wrong. That the sub-surface ocean is most probably uninhabitable and lifeless. Why is it so and what does it mean for future missions and search for life? Finding out in this interview.

Since my passing on twitter I have not seen Paul. His enthausiasm is still there. He has also grown.. In his work! Great episode. Loved it all the way. We need more Paul!
How to adjust playback speed?
Great interview! But using iOS app and video constantly stops and starts. Not buffering. Rewind and it happens again in the same place.
What powers the volcanism on Venus?
Very interesting interview. Seems we don’t have an answer. I guess a spacecraft needs to go out there and do some drilling.
These guys are so excited I had to listen at .75 speed.
Patreon player seems very glitchy 😕
Agreed. I'm unable to view the video on my Mac, though I get audio. Great interview.
Fabulous interview! One of my favourite scientists to listen to and learn from 🙂
I loved this interview. Technical notes: a few glitches in the audio in this video too including 44:21, 44:52 and 45:08. I don't know whether its an issue associated with edits around scene transitions, but its always in the same places. Not a huge issue and the captions seem to be complete to fill in the gaps. Hope that is useful to you.
Great interview, paul is a very nice guest to have these conversations with
The important thing to remember is that exo-biology isn't a science it's just wishful thinking as there's no evidence of life anywhere but on earth. The situation isn't helped by pundits going on about "space whales" that just raises expectations among the gullible inevitably leading to disappointment.
I, for one, enjoy disappointing the gullible.
Just so you know, there are relatively consistent stutters in this version on my end, where the audio cuts out and then resumes later. First one being around 1:35. The version on youtube doesn't seem to have them.
It happens to me too
