"aliens did it" without any evidence is as useful as "[some deity] did it." it's a thought-terminating cliche for people who aren't willing to put any effort into learning or investigation
for real
also all of the random stuff bout 3I atlas sounds like some AI generated trash
lol I love how it seems like everyone thinks the episode before about 3I atlas is the last but nope
Fraser can you please link the video you were mentioning at the end ? I don't know this channel and didn't get the name (sorry) Sounds super interesting !

How much of the ougassing from 3I-Atlas would have been accreted in interstellar space? Would that have been sublimated before we saw it?
There's not much substance in interstellar space. That said, 3I/ATLAS was out in interstellar space for a long time. Most of the mass making up 3I/ATLAS would have come from its stellar nursery before it was kicked out of its original solar system.
I think you're off an order of magnitude on the Interstellar objects. We'll be in 4 digits in 10 years.
I would say that this hipe about 3i atlas is helping a lot to educate the public about the interstellar comets. Frazer is giving all comet related facts, more than the single or couple of questions would get out of him. Thank you man, excellent job 👍
I recently discovered the Culture series. I read two and I'm in the process of reading two others (a short story book and another novel). This is bluffing. One thing I love and which is very original : they are not a long series of episodes you have to read in order, or which have sequels or prequels 'which is ok : there are many masterpieces like that). Instead, there is a universe : look what happens there and then. Something else : in the modern Space-Opera genre, I'm amazed you didn't speak of the amazing Hyperion/Endymion series.
Another good update. Q: When Vera Rubin starts finding interstellar objects, how will they be named? "4I/Rubin"? "The most elementary and valuable statement in science, the beginning of wisdom, is, 'I do not know.'" - Jack B. Sowards (writer), as the character Lt Cdr Data (Brent Spiner), TNG S2E2
