[Space Bites+] 3I/ATLAS Emerges After Perihelion // Our Own Little Red Dot // X-59 First Flight
A new super earth in the habitable zone. Did Jupiter save the early Earth? Astronomers see three-eye Atlas as it passes behind the sun. The X-59 quiet supersonic plane gets tested. And in Space Bites Plus, do re-entering satellites put the wrong kinds of metals in the atmosphere? All this and more in this week's Space Bites.

I thought the supersonic plane thing it was going to go to just the right altitude and then when it went supersonic it would be quiet
Love listening on patreon, no ads, and I can turn of the screen . Much better than youtube! Thanks Fraser!
Oooo! Congrats on your latest scope purchase. I have an Orion XT8+ It's one of my favourites. Best wishes for many happy clear nights exploring the universe 🙂
Question about these 2 "solar system theories": if Jupiter could have generated stable primordial orbits for stardust to aggregate to planetary bodies, how does this relate to the migrating Jupiter? When could this have happened and would this have (again) influenced the planetary orbits?
Hey Fraser, I bought one of those scopes last year!
Sorry Fraser it's Concorde not the Concorde!
I first flew on that beautiful aircraft many years ago. It is the SST Concorde, but all who flew on her just called her "the Concorde" as everyone knew what she was! As an aside, the B-747 was the Queen of the Skies, but the Captain called her "Our Lovely Lady" and indeed she was!
Vinyl's come back Fraser!
I greatly enjoy your videos. Thank you for all the work!
Keep up the good work 👍 so good to get space new that isn’t the garbage that’s all over social media these days
Shew, amen to that! lol
