Can't believe that the newsletter is only at 7%. It has way more content and provides all the cool stuff that's happening right now. Also, if I want more than a skim through on a certain topic, the links to the complete articles are provided. I look at it throughout the whole week, even if I have only 5 minutes to spare. I hope nobody is thinking of retiring it. To me, it's the cornerstone of this whole channel. Keep up the great work.

A lot of the time I listen to the videos as audio - since I have you tube premium I can listen while I do other things like cooking and running. I also listen to the podcasts. I don’t visit the site that often because even though I have an account you still have to wade through the ads to sign in before you can get rid of them.

I watch the videos on the weekends at home. I like to listen to the podcasts on my commute to work.

I listen to the podcasts while walking my dogs. I prioritize listening to the interviews. You have access to many great scientists.

I don't have time to watch the videos, but enjoy listening to the podcast while working out.

I answered videos, but I also enjoy the newsletter and podcasts

I really enjoy the videos with the newsletters a close second

R
Ray Reynolds · August 31, 2024

Videos just shad s the newsletter for different experience for a different part of the day.

The email newsletter is a close second to the video content for me. The amount of content in the email newsletters is properly exceptional.

I have answered "Website" but I also look at the videos.

The interviews are my favourite. Real experts on fascinating subjects and you always ask the right questions and lead the conversation really well. I listen to them as podcasts because they help me unwind before sleep!

When you get Scott and Marcus in, it's brilliant, but I also love the breadth of content that you cover in depth.

All your content is great but video has the edge in terms of entertainment and visuals 👍love the newsletter as well for a morning read with coffee

Interviews and Spacebites - no-one else comes close with the interviews Fraser.

I love the interviews with people... You kick ass at it

1: q&a both editions. The longer patreon version seems more personal and I like that 2: spacebits The rest is kinda dependent on what the subject is. I’m kinda lame and wanna hear about grabby aliens and fermi’s paradox. But I watch everything you drop. Unless the scientist got a bad mic. Then I don’t understand ( I’m not native English speaker ) I almost never “watch” it. I usually listen and take care of my 2y old or listen at work.

I watch the videos and read the articles mentioned in the newsletter.

Kevin Parker · August 30, 2024

I read the articles on the website and in the emails. I almost never listen to the podcasts or watch the videos because I don't have the patience for it.

*Interviews* with researchers, project directors, et al, give us the latest, unfiltered and unique information and *insights* into astronomy, missions, etc.

S
Steen Kastoft Hansen · August 30, 2024

I only read the email newsletter and the articles that it links to. I never watch videos or listen to podcasts. They take too long compared to the time it takes for me to read the article.

K
Ken Lapre · August 30, 2024

I watch Space Bites and the Q&A every week and I read the newsletter. The longer interviews, while I’m sure they are interesting, are just too much for me.

STEM school teacher with a 50 minute commute, podcasts...in classroom, videos :-)

M
Mark A Mandel · August 30, 2024

Please keep all, but my favorite is the podcasts because I can listen in the background. Can you make an audio version of the newsletter?

drudy (David R) · August 30, 2024

Almost exclusively listen to the podcasts. As a father to a 1 year old, screen time is rare. Audio only though is usually fairly easy. Like all formats of the podcast but a good interview is always number 1.

B
Ben Slutsker · August 30, 2024

Agreed - as a father of a two year old and newborn, I am in the same boat.

Rick Stankiewicz · August 30, 2024

I like my science in short, quick, easy to digest bits. I'm just not going to sit and watch 1/2 hour videos and listen to hour long podcasts. There might be lots of great and interesting content, but not going to wade through the stuff I'm not interested in to find the nuggets I am interested in...sorry!

Pam M · August 30, 2024

The interviews are my favorite. But I listen to all of your content that I can. I love that I can easily stay up on all the astro news. And the live question shows are a lot of fun. I would prefer videos, but it's rare that I can sit and watch anything. I'm normally listening while I'm doing other things. Podcasts are great for that. Especially great when I have a lot of driving to do.

I listen to the podcasts when I run so not able to see video.

Michel L. · August 30, 2024

Sorry but I can't walk and chew gum at the same time Nothing beats the weekly email for bedtime reading, great round-up.

J
John Kimberley · August 30, 2024

The interviews are the best. Does not matter if they are radio only O r video. One can just listen and enjoy and larn.

H
Herb Goodfellow · August 30, 2024

I usually listen to the pod episodes at least twice so PLEASE don't drop them from the list. :) FWIW, once while I am doing stuff (e.g., running errands or mowing the lawn) and another time to catch what I missed or wanted to focus on.

S
Scott Bennett · August 30, 2024

Same +1

T
Tirani Realta · August 30, 2024

I can listen to the videos in the background while I'm doing other stuff and stay caught up to what's going on in the world of research, and universe around me.
