Just wondering if scientist are stuck thinking Earth-like for power options for Jupiter. Read that Scintillation detector can absorb high energy radiation that is emitted from Jupiter and covert it into light energy. You could create a shield of these emitters, only remove shuttering on instruments when needed. Even create a solar wing array to cover the solar panels to directly catch the light the detectors create from Jupiter emissions. This setup would effectively convert Jupiter radiation into visible radiation for solar panels. Also, maybe a good idea for "active protection" from radiation in general(i.e Humans traveling to Mars) by removing it from the area and convert it into usable energy. * On Starliner , would like to hear from Boeing how they missed the gasket issue and how they are going to fix it. They were noticeably absent from path forward message NASA gave. * Good luck on New Glenn * Waiting for space walk mission from SpaceX. * I would agree with the Betelgeuse analysis of Binary Star theory.
