Free server setup for sponsors
Setting zurg up yourself can be a lot! So I'm offering to do it for you, free for sponsors.
Give me access to a machine and I'll set up zurg with your debrid accounts, mount your library, and install Plex or Jellyfin next to it with the right permissions. A Raspberry Pi works, so does a mini PC, a NAS that runs Docker, or a VPS. Plex doesn't allow servers on Hetzner, so on Hetzner it's Jellyfin. Everything comes back on its own after a reboot and stays pinned to a version, so nothing changes underneath you until you decide to update.
I also tune it to the machine. On a Pi that means direct play only, none of the thumbnail and analysis jobs that pull whole files from your debrid, and a read cache sized to your disk. Plex is set never to empty its own trash, so a hiccup in the mount during a scan can't wipe your library.
If you use Plex I can also hook up your watchlist. Add a movie or show from any Plex app and zurg searches DMM's index, picks a release your debrid already has cached, and adds it, often in under a minute. Then it takes the title off your watchlist. Nothing ever sits half downloaded on your account.
From you I need SSH access with a key (password login can stay off), and your debrid API token. While I'm in there you'll sign in to GitHub with your sponsor account using a code I send you, and claim your Plex server from your home network. That's all. When we're done, remove my key and change your password.
Message me on Discord with what machine you have and we'll get you set up! Please be patient for responses though

Im in need of help with this if someone could help me
Hey, lmk what you need
Hi, I have oracle vps on free tier that I tried to setup in the past but the speeds were horrible. Would you be able to optimise my setup? Posted on Reddit but didn't get a response: https://www.reddit.com/r/debridmediamanager/s/oAH3NDNE8l Attached the post
we can try!
Nice, this is cool! Also would be nice to have like a setup generator for the docker-composer.yml, like cinephage does: https://docs.cinephage.net/deploy/
Very good idea!
hey, i've been doing this for a few years on my own machine and a few vps for friends. i'd be happy to help people set up their machines if you need an extra pair of hands. love what you're doing!
Wow thank you! Thats super kind of you
Dude, this is like above and beyond. I’m gonna message you. You’re the best man.
