zurg 2.0: your Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, Torbox, Usenet libraries as a drive in your computer
zurg is no longer just a Real-Debrid mount but now it supports multiple debrid accounts and can now stream from Usenet.
Configure as many as you like, in any mix of Real-Debrid, TorBox, AllDebrid and Usenet, in one providers: block. A release held by several of them is one folder with a copy per account, so a second account is redundancy. Reads will take the first healthy copy and is re-evaluated on realtime. Rate limits and rejected tokens fall through to the next account instead of sending your library to repair. You'll see new special directories: __realdebrid__, __torbox__, __alldebrid__ and __nzb__.
TorBox runs on the REST API instead of WebDAV, so a newly added torrent is streamable in about a second rather than after the usual 5 to 15 minute propagation delay, and a cold scan of a big 1000+ torrent library account won't trip any rate limits.
Usenet also works great but still early in development. Drop an NZB file in nzbs/ directory and it appears just like a torrent, subject to the same filters, renames, dashboard and media-server integration. Articles are fetched and yEnc-decoded as your player reads utilizing your whole connection allowance. Player seeking works. Missing articles are repaired from PAR2 and verified before anything is served. Password-protected RAR5 plays and decrypted on the fly.
Now, a RAR or ZIP torrent browses as its contents instead of landing in __unplayable__ where Plex never detects it. RAR season packs now have flat listings, byte-range streaming, ZIP64 past 4 GiB and prefetched volumes and now streams fast like a plain torrent.
Also made enhancements on old repair strategy. repair_timeout_mins was killing downloads mid-stream and breaking healthy torrents as "no seeders". Content that truly can't be fixed is condemned instead of retried forever, and the proactive link check that burned Real-Debrid rate limits is gone.
FYI: restarting zurg during a scan can still empty a Plex library. Set plex_database_path and zurg snapshots your database before it cycles the mount. An optional trash sweep clears entries whose files are really gone and repairs the ones Plex trashed that still play.
Multi-season anime stops collapsing into a single season. Zurg renames files to Plex-canonical names using the show's own metadata.
To upgrade, use the latest nightly. Your library carries over. Move top-level token: into providers: (it still loads as a Real-Debrid account if you don't), keep data/strm_secret, and expect archive releases to rematch once.
