Guide to pulling the private Docker image
If you are getting an Unauthorized error when pulling the Docker image, make sure you follow this guide.
First of all, you should connect your Github (required) and/or Patreon (only if you donated thru Patreon) to Gatekeeper https://gatekeeper.debridmediamanager.com/
You should receive an invite within 15 minutes, check for the Github repository invite in your email (inbox or spam). After you've accepted the invite, this link should work for you https://github.com/debridmediamanager/zurg
Now to pull the docker image, create a personal CLASSIC access token first here - make sure the read:packages permission is enabled: https://github.com/settings/tokens/new
And then you can run this command on your terminal:
docker logout ghcr.io
docker login ghcr.io -u username -p accesstoken
Now you can run:
docker pull ghcr.io/debridmediamanager/zurg:latest
Setup guides for Docker, Linux, macOS and Windows are here: https://notes.debridmediamanager.com/

What’s best way to update to latest version
From within the folder where you have your compose and config file sudo docker compose pull sudo docker compose up -d
Gatekeeper seems to be having an issue connecting. I get these error: Be careful! The redirect_uri is not associated with this application. The application might be misconfigured or could be trying to redirect you to a website you weren't expecting.
Should I upgrade patreon to get access to docker image?
Lol i should learn how to read the above, my apologies :D
Thanks for sponsoring brother
I'm having the same issue with pulling the latest docker image just giving daemon denied error.
did you already connect your accounts to gatekeeper?
is there a reason why cant i pull the latest version? i did whats in the instructions and still getting errors
Hi there, did you accept the github invite on your email already?
I keep getting the "Error response from daemon: denied" message too. Made a CLASSIC token, did a docker logout, then a login using my github user and the new token as password but sadly it gives a permission error and I cannot find any solution.
Hi there, did you accept the github invite on your email already?
It is a year later but i am getting the forbidden error. What is the resolution?
hi please message me here directly in patreon or in discord
I get: Error response from daemon: unknown: failed to resolve reference "ghcr.io/debridmediamanager/zurg:latest": unexpected status from HEAD request to https://ghcr.io/v2/debridmediamanager/zurg/manifests/latest: 403 Forbidden Did what HumanUFO suggested and still get the same error. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Issue: Unable to Pull Docker Image from GitHub Container Registry (GHCR) Context: I'm trying to pull a Docker image from GHCR using the following command: bash Copy code docker pull ghcr.io/debridmediamanager/zurg:latest Steps Taken: Generated a new classic GitHub token with read:packages and write:packages permissions. Used the token to log in to GHCR. Here are the logs showing the login process: bash Copy code root@server:~# docker logout ghcr.io Removing login credentials for ghcr.io bash Copy code root@server:~# echo "my_new_token" | docker login ghcr.io -u --password-stdin WARNING! Your password will be stored unencrypted in /root/.docker/config.json. Configure a credential helper to remove this warning. See https://docs.docker.com/engine/reference/commandline/login/#credential-stores Login Succeeded Attempted to pull the image, but received an error despite the successful login. bash Copy code root@server:~# docker pull ghcr.io/debridmediamanager/zurg:latest Error response from daemon: denied Additional Troubleshooting: Regenerated the token multiple times. Created entirely new tokens, deleting old ones to avoid conflicts. Verified each token was configured with read:packages permissions. Each token allowed successful login, but pulling the image continues to fail with a "denied" error. Request: If anyone has encountered a similar issue with GHCR or knows why access might be denied despite successful login, I’d appreciate any advice or solutions
I was having a similar issue, turned out to be an issue with using pass as a docker credential store. I probably misconfigured it somehow. Anyways, I fixed it by removing the credsStore line from $HOME/.docker/config.json and running docker login ghcr.io again
I'm still getting permission denied even though I subscribed.
did you get the issue sorted as i am having the same issue
