Love at First Tail - 0.6

Hello everyone, it's been a while! I hope you are all doing well ^^

First of all, thank you for your patience. This update took much longer than I wanted, and you already know why from the last post. But it's finally here, and I hope it was worth the wait.

This update is all about Hana. Her story continues past the first heart with nine new trust events, five affection events and three lust scenes, close to 30,000 words of new writing. Hana was also re-rendered from scratch, and so was the house, room by room.

Oliver has a new design, Billy finally has proper sprites, and Lily and Tara have new sprites too, even if their scenes are still the old ones.

The older scenes were improved as well. Before, the prologue, Hana's first heart and Rina's trust events were mostly dialogue. Now they have narration, and the dialogue was cleaned up. Nothing in the story has changed.

I want to be clear about what is not finished yet. Rina is halfway: sprites, trust events, hang-outs and her first lust scene are new, but her room, the talks, the affection events and the rest of the lust scenes still use the old art. The plan is to redo her old art this month, so she is fully on the new look, along with the scenes she shares with Hana and Lily.

The market is a placeholder for now. I plan to make it better eventually. Lily, Tara, Fauna and Dolla have the same content as in 0.5. I will keep replacing the old art with each update, and the game will keep getting smaller for a few more updates.

The Android version is back! It stopped running when the game got too big, so now the art runs at 720p to keep it small, 1.1 GB in total. It should work without problems.

About saves: the ones from 0.5 don't work with this version, there was no way around it. Start a new game and choose "Take me to the latest content" if you don't want to play the first heart again.

Once her old art is done, the next big update will be for Rina, with new content for her. I will keep you posted along the way.

One more thing about how updates work from now on: they will be free for everyone from day one. In the long run, splitting the game in two brought more problems than anything else, so now everyone gets to play it the same day. Tier 1 patrons will keep getting early information, and tier 2 and up will get extra scenes, outside the main story, that I will be working on alongside the updates. Those will become free for everyone eventually as well, so nobody misses out.

• Hana, re-rendered from scratch. Every scene that is hers alone has the new art, first heart included. The breakfast and the living room hang-out with Rina, and the two meetings with Lily, still use the old art

Prologue:

• I removed the bad ending with the sex scene in the prologue. The only reason it existed was to give the prologue a second ending back in version one, and honestly it never fit the game.

Android:

• First Android build. Art at 720p, 1.1 GB in total

Download size:

• The PC version went from 3.9 GB to 2.6 GB. Videos were re-encoded, with no visible loss in quality

Saves:

• Saves from 0.5 are not compatible. Start a new game and use "Take me to the latest content"

• Fixed crashes from misspelled flags in Fauna's second heart talks, Dolla's hang-out at the east farm, Fauna's evening hang-out in her room, Dolla's affection event 04 and Tara's trust event 06

• Fixed Fauna's trust event 03 never starting its cooldown

• Fixed Hana's casual clothes variants of the tailjob and the titjob not unlocking in the gallery when done from the kitchen

• Fixed Hana's "Actions" menu opening empty in the second heart

• Fixed Hana's repeatable titjob and "Take care of her" being locked until the end of the first trust heart

• Fixed Hana's hub keeping every video playing underneath

• Fixed the prologue showing Hana's name before she introduced herself, the mall printing "You spent $-10" without charging, and an italic tag left open

• Fixed the computer's stat cheats trapping you in the input box
