Poll: Considering Voice Acting for Major Characters
Hello everyone,
I need your valuable input on an important decision that could enhance your experience with *With Eyes Closed*. I'm considering adding voice acting for the main female characters (most likely to 18+ scenes). However, this is a significant investment, potentially costing thousands of dollars, so I want to make sure it's something you truly value.
Here's the plan: The voice acting would first be added to Season 1 and made available on both Steam and Patreon. For Season 2, due to the complexity and convenience, the voice acting would be implemented after the completion of the entire season rather than chapter by chapter.
Your opinion matters greatly to me, so please let me know how important this is to you.

i believe you can use text to speech voice acting now with different sofware. which makes you able to use diffrent types of voices for each char if you want to. better than stephen hawkins telling the whole story. god rest his soul.
Yeah, I know about that. But I don't want to use AI for voice-overs because first of all, it doesn't voice emotions well and secondly it's not very clear what will happen in the end with the copyright and the possibility of selling on Steam
VA is usually lame in VNs. And sex sounds are pretty canned, they repeat over and over, like spam.
Frankly, I've been underwhelmed as a whole with voice acting in AVNs. It's nothing I need, or even want. I'm OK with it if others want, provided there's a way to separately shut it off in Preferences.
Very few games have "decent" voice acting. If you do go with voice acting, I hope the actress(es) sound sexy and not like they are simply reading a script. Too many don't sound like they are "in" the story; meaning they don't have a good pace or inflection.
Aka, if you are going to do it, do it right.
