Hello! In this episode of Tran Girlismo, the girls dig into the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 promotional tie-in Aston Martin Dreadnought and how much the two of them cannot stand it. Then Jordan put herself through listening to Donald Trump ramble on about the Freedom 250 so we could get an idea of what we're in for come... oh God next month. When the race is held. And we have to go to it.
Next up, Victoria dissects the Volkswagen Century of Humiliation, and the girls discuss the Nissan Altima's possible demise. Also, Vicki finished her book, and she has to describe the crashout that only finishing a project that has been a sole obsession for months on end can bring.

Alright I just wanna say I'm doing 45 up the ramp until I can actually see the traffic and pick how I'm gonna merge and hammer the throttle till I'm at the correct speed. But that happens before merging is even an option. There's just a lot of blind on ramps around me

The Dreadnaught looks like someone kit bashed a Mustang on an off road chassis. Which only adds to chud factor

So the '4' in mw4 is just the Korean character for 4, 'sa'. It resembling a 4 is kinda a font choice, but it's not too far out there.
Good to know! I still do not trust the folks at Activision with the subject matter, but I do stand corrected on it being more racist than just keeping their usual numbers.

Altima is the ultimate fleet car. I once went to rental car free upgrade lot and saw rows and rows of brand new Altimas. My profound feeling was "this is a great car but only until any one thing breaks." Then one of the sensors, predictably , died 🤦♀️ There are thousands of off-fleet Altimas waiting to pounce on you out there.
Insane episode, I could have listened to three hours of that but I am a sicko :) Also ending on a cliffhanger with the Lucid thing is killing me with anticipation for next episode. ALSO shouting out the reading assignment "Performance Review" by Aster Olsen since it wasn't in the show description and I wanted to remember it for later (I see that cover photo credit :) ).

I feel that merging thing so much. Everytime there's a car in front of me on an offramp I just know they are going to be going maybe 40 when they get to the highway, in a space where I can easily get to 60 in my Honda Fit.

As someone who works in German industry, the pivot away from the auto industry seems absolutely complete. We went from selling like 80% of our products to auto makers down to like 25% over half a decade. And I'm not seeing it bounce back. VW and Mercedes are absolutely cooked in my mind. They missed the pivot to electric and somehow didn't notice until roughly now.
And as far as I can tell the only plan now is to put all our eggs in the Rheinmetall basket which seems very unwise as a national economic strategy

The merging thing drives me insane. I drive a Scion xB with like 100 hp. I need the whole fucking ramp. If I am behind someone on a short ramp I will pull off on to the shoulder and give myself plenty of space from the car in front of me that has 3-5 times the power that is inevitably merge going 45 into 80 mph traffic and only then chooses rapidly accelerate to like 90 mph.

Hell yeah, excited for the book and oh God I am all too familiar with The Sinewave Of Creation. Glad to hear someone else say it for once at least. Something to be gained from knowing you aren't the first or last person wholl experience it. Looking forward to the book and will def be trying to grab a copy!
