EXTREMELY SCIENTIFIC POLL: FERRARI LUCE EDITION
Hello! In preparation for this week's recording of Tran Girlismo, I, Victoria, would like to submit a question to our listeners: Do you like the looks of newly-unveiled Ferrari Luce EV?
Jordan and I are split on our opinions, and so I thought it was worth asking our listeners what they thought!
This is of course only the most scientific polling, so it's open to everyone.
We record on Thursdays so get your thoughts in before then!
Thank you for your dedication to the cause of science, and Pokémon Go! to our poll:

It ought to be red. I feel like it is being sent out to fail if it's not red. Like they are distancing themselves from it. It's a Ferrari, it needs to be red and it needs to go Really Fucking Fast. And then it's good.
looks like a generic chinese EV inspired by the Saab 9000. im neutral towards it.
If they were going to make it blue, at least shift the hue, add some pink, a touch of white and make it a big statement.
I think they're resting a lot of confidence on the gimmick of the hood being so low it actually dives below the grill that isn't actually there, to which they were beaten by the electric Dodge Charger Challenger Daytona Scat Pack SRT Banshee, considering that's about the only thing the exterior has going for it.
Frankly, the Dodge Charger Challenger Daytona Scat Pack SRT Banshee does a better job of looking muscular, like some sort of a muscle car, and while I think it could stand to depart from its gas-powered kin a bit more and the fake Fart-tronic exhaust is silly, it does show that there's room for style even when you're really optimizing for wind noise because everything is louder without a gas engine to cover it up. I understand the engineering constraints pushing so many cars into this shape but come on it's a zillion-dollar Ferrari, sometimes you can actually throw enough money at a problem to bend physics to your will.
The ipad on the swivel looks like something a dentist would use. Apart from that I find it charming.
Honestly given the more energy it takes to make an EV does making an EV ferrari even break even given how many of those kind of cars don't get driven much.
It’s aggressively okay
It's weird that, at a glance it looks pretty nice. Good outline, friendly rounded shapes bucking the trend of angry hypermasculinity angular blockiness, the dark underbody makes it look sleeker than it is. But the longer you look at it, the worse it gets. All the proportions are just a little off, stupid wheels, the rear body cutout is dumb and will look nasty fast if left outside, stupid hidden door handles. Pass.
i voted that i like it. however i have never seen a car before
It looks good, but not Ferrari. Interior is very nice, but the central screen is a bit too big.
On second look, I'm pretty sure I have a computer mouse that looks like this
this design feels like a cross between early 2000s thinking about future civilization pod cars and chevy impalas. looking at the side profile, the conspicuous little ferrari logo is there to tell you it's a ferrari because nothing else would suggest that.
Cinched waist with an puffer jacket overcoat and a subtle glimpse of the F355 spare parts bin taillights under the petticoat.. It's got more style than most realize with just a brief tiktok attention level glance. Take a breath, understand how art works, give it a moment and the brilliance just glistens more and more. And those suicide doors, Also I am so confused how the brand is more a factor to most commenting than, well , uh the design. Everyone needs to express themselves in their own way, not how others deem "the way". Go Ferrari! Do your thing!

They put French doors on an Italian car
Addendum: I like the blue color, and the Noctua colors of the interior. The console upsets me, it looks like it belongs in the most expensive coffee shop known to man. I want Jonny Ive fired into the sun, as I so tired of the idea that design should take precedence over the performance/functionality of a device. And putting (what I assume are) the turn signals on the steering wheel are a safety hazard - don’t take design pointers from Tesla, like, just no.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-05-25/ferrari-rolls-out-five-seat-fully-electric-car-in-brand-first?srnd=homepage-europe&embedded-checkout=true Ferrari lost 8% after the reveal. Wowzers...
this would be an amazing £60,000 toyota
at least it has a round-ish steering wheel?
Its like a Mansory Toyota Crown
why is it BLUE. they're mentally torturing us with the Hewlett-Packard sponsorship deal
Compared to other modern cars it looks good; but, the Enzo Ferrari defines peoples expectations of a Ferrari, and this does not meet them.
this looks like a vibrator from a company that says it "puts women first" and does influencer giveaways
The interior looks ok but on the outside, it looks "fine" and nothing like a supercar. I'm sure i've been seeing this in sci-fi games for a decade or two
Hear me out.... Alfa Romeo Luce Imagine it was announced as that with a zero knocked off the price.
It’s giving cassette futurism and if you put this on a ratty street corner under some neon lights à la cyberpunk I think more people would love it. I get why Ferrari enjoyers hate it though :(
It has that tall "we're really trying to hide the batteries" look that a handful of EV's do that I don't think it doing it any favors. Its also in this weird in-between of a sedan and an SUV like an X6 or GLC coupe that just weird. If they committed more one way or the other I think it could have worked. The interior is good tho
It looks *fine* but for the price it probably shouldn’t make me think “oh, this costs the same as a Prius and a house in Des Moines, America’s Blandest City”, which this kind of reminds me of now that I said it
Exterior is fine but it's not Ferrari. Should have either gone weirder or more classic with it, as it is it just looks like a lost Hyundai concept or something. The interior is absolutely dire, but this is a very common sentiment as far as I can tell.
No! NOOOOOOOO NO NO NONONO. (It's not for me at all.)
I’m imagining the “more than you can afford, pal” scene from the first Fast and the Furious movie, but the rich bro is driving THIS Ferrari…and I cant stop laughing
It’s got the cutest lil ass! Everything else about it vaguely disgusts me. Has Ferrari culled every designer that dares utilize a single angle?
this is a very cute ans silly car on the outside, not a Ferrari but still there is some joke about letting IPad kids design interiors here but I cant quite word it guess it is Jonny Ive
As this is a Jony Ive design, I am assuming it is replete with printed-on leather stitching on the inside. One hopes there is also a wood-panel edition with wood printed on the sides.
JFC that's the same clock he's been designing since 2002
I kinda like how weird it looks? Importantly, though: I have a driving phobia and thus would never in a million years actually want to drive a vehicle like this, regardless of how it was styled. AKA me saying “I kinda like how weird it looks?” is a bit like a vegan saying “I guess the garish on that steak is nice?"
Is there a rule that dictates that an EV has to look like a different gas model is coming out of it's butt at the rear. BMW did it with the i8 looking like a 911 rear bumper is coming out of it... now Ferrari has done it with tihs.
Do not like it. I would love one if it weren’t a Ferrari or the price of a Ferrari. If anything, this should’ve been the next generation Nissan Leaf or Chevy Volt. I agree with the sentiment of the last episode of having more electric car options rather than trucks, SUVs, and crossovers. Hell, when can we start considering EV wagons?
I neither like nor hate the appearance. It does not look anything like a Ferrari should though. Throw some other badge on it like a Maserati badge and I'd feel the same about how it looks. So, I'd say it's bad as a Ferrari but it's not a distinctly bad design.
I don't love it. I don't care that it's a four-door electric Ferrari, it's just The Shape That Cars Are Now and it's too tall and looks goofy
puts me in mind of the new Toyota Crown, which is also too tall
Videogame car for sports car money. I don't hate it but I'm also not the market for it and I want more weird-ugly cars rather than boring-ugly cars
I think it's bland, which puts it among the less ugly Ferraris I've seen, but I'm given to understand that many people think other Ferraris look cool so I'm probably not the correct person to ask.
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2026/may/26/ferrari-luce-ev-jony-ive-design-sports-car
Meh. just meh.
I actually don't hate it? Like, it's a weird Ferrari for sure, but they've always made weird Ferrari's. The Enzo was a weird Ferrari, the Modulo was a weird Ferrari as was the Dino. It is also for sure boring, this doesn't look like a terribly interesting machine to drive, so I think it fits in with the Mondiale or the 612 Scaglietti. I still want to give it a spin, but if you parked a 360 CS next to it and opened the door, I'd drive that instead.
It looks like a bmw
I like it, but not as a Ferrari
I do think it is a pretty good design, it however does not look like a Ferrari. It's way too frumpy and not elegant. If it was from another brand it may have been a very nice design.
I kinda like it. Not stellar, but it does the job
I like it. However... It looks like a cross between a Honda e and a Subaru Solterra: quirky and cute, but also oddly tall and kind of ugly. The way the blue parts float off the black parts make it look like somebody just took it out of the box and hasn't removed the protective hard plastic shell yet, especially in the photo of the back. It looks like a disguise a normal Ferrari would wear to blend in at a Toyota RAV4 owners club meeting.
It looks like a kitchen appliance, which is fine for basic cars than also function like a kitchen appliance but is entirely wrong for a sports car
It’s cute, as someone else mentioned it gives upscale Prius. I do absolutely hate to giant iPad of a console. It’s pretty much a deal breaker. I miss buttons and toggle and sliders and dials. Give us objects with haptic feedback so we don’t have to take our eyes off the road to use it.
I can't fully explain why, but there's something very Mondial about it from the side. Maybe the surface to vent ratio? Maybe the sharp-ish transition from top to side surfaces? Maybe the relative slab-sidedness? Of course, if I didn't know it was a Ferrari, only the rear view would help. The interior is beautiful. It feels modern, but it also has a sort of daintiness of wheel we've been taking out of interiors for the last fifty years, between boombox-inspo and the safety needs of airbags and Abingdon pillows.
It looks like someone got stupendously drunk off of Hypnotiq early in the process of carving up the clay model of the car, puked the Hypnotiq all over the model, ran out of time and said "fuck it we'll do it live"
I like the design, I just don't think it's very Ferrari-like. Like it would make sense as a new concept Honda NSX.
I think it's fucking awesome but the Ferrari logo feels like when a phone camera has like a Leica or Hasselblad logo on it. the car just really doesn't fit what a Ferrari is. it's so crazy to me too because there are plenty of really great looking EVs, I feel like yangwang u9 and the Luce were switched at birth. I also think the blending of the electronic instruments and screens with all the physical buttons is one of the coolest car interiors ever but again, it doesn't feel very ferrari
ok nevermind I just saw it in red finally, crazy not only how much more like a ferrari it looks looks but also just how good it looks in red in general, idk why they revealed all the weird colors right off the bat, the blue is kinda uggo
This NISMO version of the new Leaf looks sick, I don't know what everyone is angry about.
It looks like a Mansory Nissan Leaf
why are you blue?
theyre dabbing on us
I like it, but not as a Ferrari. As a Ferrari it is bad
it is a good looking car, I would never have thought it was a ferrari if it didn't have the badge slapped on it.
I dont hate the side profile and from behind but from the front I see only the gaping abyss before me
Why is it so ordinary? Looks like someone squashed a polestar
$650k for Jony Ive squircles, jfc
I voted a secret third thing, because like others have said, it just doesn't read as a Ferrari. I think I like most of the exterior styling, though the butt does look a bit odd (and seems to be the one place they're really trying to bring in the Ferrari look). As Josh suggested, if this were a Kia or some other mass-market maker, it would be a good bit more interesting and feel like a bolder concept.
I'd like it if it wasn't being sold to me at Ferarri prices. If it was a Toyota or something, I'd be down.
It's a wonderful design for a car from a different manufacturer.
It has some interesting design features I really like but, the proportions are all kinda wonky. It also doesn't look much like a Ferrari
I like it as an American muscle electric car which is what it says to me. Not Ferrari
it's like if the Ferrari Purosangue and the Honda E had a baby
I like the look for an EV but for a Ferrari I feel like it isn't crazy enough.
I think it looks awful as a ferrari, it could be ok as like a honda concept car from a decade ago. It's just simultaneously too big and too bulbous to be a ferrari, and the back end looks like they started designing something good and realized they had to make the car x1.3 bigger so designed a separate shell around it.
I like this. It's okay! If this were 6-12 inches shorter I think I would love it. As it is, it looks like a platform shoe was crossbred with an SUV
In some ways it looks like a toy car (complimentary), and in some ways it looks like a toy car (derogatory)
I like it but it should have a light grey cloth interior and a badge that says "Fiat Multipla EV"
The interior is horrendous but the rest of the car is passable. Take off all the emblems and I wouldn't recognize it as a ferrari though.
It looks like an Uber, and Ferrari's shouldn't. Yes, it has hints to past Ferrari's, but only in key jangling way (ooo I remember those headlights). My criteria for if a Ferrari looks like a Ferrari is, 'Does it look fast even when parked' and this doesn't. As a crossover for another company, it looks good!
I'm glad they made an EV but it looks like a generic background car you'd see in traffic in a mid 2000s scifi movie. It looks like a car from a videogame where the devs didn't want it to be too complicated so they could get out to lunch on time. This looks like a car you'd steal from an NPC in Cyberpunk 2077 and crash into a light post two minutes later. Why is it boxy? Its a Ferrari. Where are the swoops? Where are the curves? A Ferrari should be sexy. They managed to make the least fuckable Ferrari.
conflicted: > color scheme and shapes of the outside look nice, > BUT that dashboard looks like ass imho, no flow no style. just two squircle screens, circle vents, and a bent(?) wheel. they couldn't even keep a shape scheme there. booo *edit: lmao I'm not a car ppl so I didn't know how this compares to ferari's reg vibe
I have a cheap curling iron with the same styling as the interior. Exterior is fine. I guess. We're really out of automotive design ideas, aren't we?
Bad: The air vents are ugly, the back of the car is ugly, the black band of shame around the bottom to try and hide the height is ridiculous unless you never plan to take your half-a-million-dollar car anywhere but a dark parking garage. I don't like the steering wheel so much. I don't like that there's still a pillar when the front and rear doors are both open but I get that probably does improve stiffness. Good: I think the front looks good. I like the physical toggle switches and how the gauge cluster has bezels around the dials and how the screens it does have are completely flush with the surface they're on so the buttons and the screens aren't a thousand miles apart. I like that the control for the climate control in the backseat also has a speedometer and motor power gauge because that's really dumb. I like that some of those switches are on the ceiling, including the launch control button. Nuanced: This thing has as much power and the same 0-60 as the new Testarossa. With electric motors, you barely have to choose between stupid fast and stupid comfortable. But ultimately I don't like the design and I bet most of that comes down to it being built on top of a skateboard battery, and the whole point of a skateboard is that it's easier and cheaper to built on top of and if I'm spending half a million dollars on a car, which is definitely something I'll be doing any day now, I'd be considering that kind of lazy work considering Maserati managed to build a sporty electric car that isn't built like that for half the price *and* the roof comes off.
What's up with the double nose, are we supposed to be confused by the lower one into thinking this thing is Ferrari shaped, and not a partially collapsed shoebox?
The back looks like a metaphor for repressing.
It looks like a k67 kiosk with corvette taillights
I don't really hate it but I feel like I could take a ford Capri and paint some black splotches on it and arrive at a very similar point which does confuse me. I am really happy that it doesn't look like all the journalism renders we saw in advance because those were a flatter, somehow even worse, red urus SUV. I think I'm actually coming around on it, some of the other colours look pretty good and it's not another stupid weird angry luxury electric SUV. The disk wheels look pretty cool too.
Getting alarmingly close to a crossover shape there.
The curved black stripe on the bottom of the sides makes it look worse.
It's not terrible. Also, it gets points for having proper wheels in 2026, instead of the current trend of origami-shaped black wheels with a diamond cut face.
I quite like it, until I remember it's a $600k Ferrari and not the new Nissan Leaf.
It looks like the future, I love how flat the side is, this has to have a awesome drag coefficient, rear looks like a bumper car
Glad Italy returned to it's roots and had an 8 year old design this car. I'm assuming the final assembly will be performed by toddlers, as is tradition.
It looks far better with the Opel front fascia. In fact, this should be an Opel. Not a Ferrari. You can't show me this and tell me it costs 670k with a serious face
The dash is really ugly. Why does it have two huge screens. A Ferrari should have some proper instrumentation. The paddle shift is weird on a an electric vehicle. Also, the blue doesn't suit it.
It looks like a Tesla Model Y clone. Meh.
the interior is dull garbage but I find the exterior endearing. it looks so happy to see you!
I think it's kinda neat :)
The New Polestar looks great!
Is that the new Prius?
The interior looks great but it is too...thicc. If you took the profile of the outside and flattened it by 20% it would look great but as it is it is there's an uncanny valley thing.
the side profile of any Ferrari should not look, even remotely, like my ID.4. i am mortified.
That thing is ugly as day-old sin. I'd say it looks like a Hyundai, but that would be an insult to the good people at Hyundai.
My secret third thing is that I don't like this Ferrari, but I'm going to love the Corvette based on it in 5 years.
I know the answer to this, but why can't they just build like a 246 Dino, but with an electric drivetrain. It's just my general gripe about electric car design: it could look like anything, why does it look like nothing?
It looks like one of the micro machines for a near-future car. Also it’s ugly and should go back to the galoobian imagination
I kinda like the front of it, but I don't like the back of it, and why does it have to be the a four-door what is Ferrari concerned about making sure they meet the market with a practical econobox for their first EV?
I kind of like the back end specifically cause I feel like it has an almost throw back vibe if you squint the rest of it looks like an EV Camaro concept I swear I've seen somewhere that someone photoshopped Ferrari badges onto
i really don't think it's as bad as people are saying apart from the rims. those solid "jet turbine-inspired" rims from the reveal video are just... they're just terrible. the stock rims on an ioniq 5 look more "turbine-inspired" than that! and they're uglier than just full solid rims! and the "ferrari standard" ones in the photos above are so incongruous on what is otherwise a futuristic car. huge misstep imo. otherwise whatever, it's a car that looks like phone, i think it's fine
Saints Row assed design
Jony Ive and his consequences have been a disaster for the human race
Echoing the comments below -- it's a great looking car, but it doesn't look like a Ferrari. Maybe they should rebadge it as a Dino Luce?
If you showed it to me with no badging on it, I’d assume it was a new Hyundai or Toyota concept. I’d even believe it was an Audi or Polestar if told. Nothing about it says “Ferrari” to me, though. Not that I’m a huge Ferrari fan anyway, which might actually be swaying me towards liking it. If Ferrari was aiming towards making a “stealth wealth” car, they nailed it. It’s wearing a $100k watch that looks like a basic Seiko. A rich private equity ghoul or their spouse could drive this to Erewhon without drawing their ire of the working class lives they ruined. Which given the state of the world right now, might actually be the point.
It looks happy, like its smiling. i like smiling cars :p
I think it could stand to be shorter and those wheels kinda look hideous but it's got a cuteness to it I think
not a cars sicko really, but I must of course do my civic duty and VOTE! Went with 3rd thing cause I like the exterior (sleek, simple), and I do not like the interior (millennial beige, center console's too small and looks touchscreeny, also what's with the weird lip underneath it?)
I feel like they should have called this the Dino or something. The stance is too high but I kind of like the cyberpunk vibes of it. Also interesting to note that it has a cab forward approach due to no engine.
The front looks sleek but the back looks bulky and cheap.
I think I’d like it more if it wasn’t a Ferrari
I like it, just not as a Ferrari. (Edit) I was trying to be nice, but on a third look, what the fuck¿! For a company so controlling of their image this is absolutely baffling. I can not see any design cues outside the steering wheel and some other miscellaneous bits.
Overall I’m pretty positive on it, but I’m also not a Ferrari purist. It’s always cool to see what they do when they set out to do a new thing. The interior came together surprisingly well. When they first unveiled the interface modules in a vacuum I was expecting a disaster, but now I see something usable and modern that leaves the cabin feeling airy. Complaints? Wheels are too big (but probably required for the mass) and I don’t see how that adjustable center stack stays in place unless it’s lockable.
From the front, it looks like a Hyundai. From the back, it looks like an F40 wearing a slightly larger car like power armor. Overall I don't like it, it's just kind of confusing
Ass end looks like a Volvo concept shitting out an impala
It don't look bad. It just don't look like a ferrari. Like, it's a good looking kia or whatever.
That absolutely does not say "Ferrari" at all. That looks like a Tesla from an alternate future where they weren't quite as fascist.
It looks like a 328, but still in the box.
I like it, especially the weird back end. I think their first EV looking different is cool and the design is the right ratio of 80s boxy futurism that I kind of like it. I also have no like particularly warm ferrari feelings, I'm ok if it looks like a hornier audi that's fine.
It looks like a Hot Wheels toy that someone slapped Ferrari logos on
I like the blue
I suppose the back's not bad, but from every other angle it kinda looks like a generic "this is our sporty model" that could be from most Euro or Asian automakers.
I'm not upset that this is a Ferrari that looks like this. I just think it is boring. Paint it white and it is like any other egg car on the road
If this were from anyone else I would like it but it does not give Ferrari vibes to me at all
It’s really competently done but like in an airless way?
Gorgeous from the inside. Horrendous from the outside.
That sure does look like a Ferrari and not at all like BMW put out some new model I've never heard about until just now /s
It fees like the Hyundai N Vision 74 we have at home. Also we made it a small crossover.
i am okay with the exterior, and I love that color, but I really don't like the interior
Tail looks like an iPhone app icon from 2011
I think it looks nice and would love to have one if I could drive. I think the blue looks especially lovely. It is, however, not a Ferrari. I love it as a car, hate it as a Ferrari.
It should be about half the height? Just in general like graphically it doesn’t really communicate speed to me, certainly nothing of the libidinal or the sensual. Looks like a crossover. The interior looks like like it would be perfect for some future boxter.
I would like it a lot more if it wasn’t a Ferrari tbh. As others said, it’s a great looking Honda/Toyota/Whatever, like I think this is a what the prelude revival should have looked like. As a Ferrari though? Awful
Why does every EV front end have to look like a melted bar of soap?
personally, i think it has potential, and it's going for a cyberpunk thing, which i'm a huge sucker for, because im a trans woman. but it doesn't get across the finish line, tbh
It's a very pretty Polestar.
I'm pretty indifferent. Not awful enough for me to hate, but still too weird for me to really like.
It looks like they had two different ideas and half did both of them Ends up looking largely generic with a handful of clashing features imo
i actually really like the front... from certain angles where the underbite isn't so pronounced the side profile is *fine*, except for the aforementioned underbite why is the back end shitting out a smaller ferrari overall it has "alternate reality 5th gen prius" vibes, which ain't terrible
Two problems with this car. Problem number one: the console has a touch screen, not physical buttons and knobs. Problem number two: it doesn't look like a Ferrari.
I’ve been thinking about this car all day, and while there are numerous things about the design that are off-putting, the thing that I keep coming back to is that it has zero sense of extravagance, something I would think would be impossible in a Ferrari. Awkward proportions, cheap-looking detailing, and a vibe that’s more like an Apple-branded walking shoe than a luxurious work of art. This is going to be the Ferrari people are forced to buy in order to get on the waitlist for the better models. Otherwise, I have no idea who this is for.
I like the top / two tone hood thing they're trying but not the side, the wheel cutouts look like they've been taken out with a hole punch. it doesn't look like a car to drive particularly fast in
it's FANTASTIC!! it's SO CUTE!! it's got peak Silly Little Guy™ energy!! this car is a 12 year old tween with their baseball cap on backwards and Ferrari does not deserve to have something so adorable in their lineup. they should give the design to Fiat who will do it justice edit: I was totally thinking of the Fiat Coupe proportions when I said this. it's like someone made a Fiat Coupe a 4-door 2026 EV
just on vibes I like that it gives Star Trek: The Next Generation big time. and I like the center console panel of physical buttons (or so it looks). I fuck with it but I have no particular attachment to Ferrari's historic style
The orange is really good, the proportions are Too Danged Tall, the interior is garbage. It's shaped like the Apple mouse that you have to flip upside down to charge. Honstly, the shape of it would work great if it was lower and not a four-door. This... doesn't work.
It's not a terribly ugly car. It's an awfully ugly Ferrari.
I selected do not like, however I feel the need to elaborate further. So much of the Do Not Like hinges on it being A Ferrari. Ferrari represents, or should represent, so much more challenging design. A challenging experience. For this blobular thing with an interior, which is at a glance indistinguishable from any existing electric vehicle, is a very sad state. The company just seems to lack any sort of confidence for real challenging design. I love Marc Newson, but I really dislike Ive, and all of his design aesthetics. So the iPhone 4 in this very much overshadows the 021c. Yeah this thing sucks. Also, $640,000? Lol.
I think it’s fine for a normal car. Not up to par for a Ferrari. If you offered me a Ford or Toyota that looked like that, I’d think it was nice enough. At Ford or Toyota prices. Edit: Looking at it longer, I actually think it’s pretty cute. Still not what I’d expect from Ferrari, but pretty compared to my Mach E (even though I love my Mach E).
I like the design but to me it is not a good looking Ferrari. Were it for a different manufacturer I think it would be a better fit.
It just looks like every other EV, not a Ferrari. Like, somehow they made me nostalgic for Colani's Daytona and Testa D'Oro
it's a nice FIAT, not sure why there's horses on it is this an umamusume promotional thing
Yeah, Fiat. The 124 is obviously an affordable Japanese car with a lot of Italian style sprinkled on, which is fine for the price. This thing looks the same, which is A-OK at Fiat prices but certainly not at Ferrari prices
I guess it looks about as much as you'd expect any EV to look in 2026, but then I guess the question is why would you get a Ferrari if it looks like everything else?
The exterior looks alright, but it doesn't look like a performance car to me. It's on par with the new look of the prius
I like the interior independent of anything else, but the exterior is just too bouba for the brand. Corporate Memphis Ferrari. It really does look like the rear of the car is a Dune sandworm slowly engulfing a Chevy Impala too.
I like it but aside from the fender shields nothing about it really screams Ferrari to me
The butt is too damn high
the aesthetics feel like the 1970s view of the future, something from THX1138 or Logan's Run and attempted to recapture in places like Minority Report and the woeful remake of Total Recall. this is not bad but it feel uninspired, verging on boring and ferrari have not always been pretty but they have almost never been boring. however the inside - i have to agree with MKBHD that regardless of how you feel about Ives the way things appear to be put to your hand/displayed/the tactile experience is something that has been missing since Saab went the way of all things. for 600k though? even in the world of ferrari that seems off but every single one will sell.
In a vacuum, there's some great ideas going on for a futuristic EV coupe. To me it feels like a spiritual successor to some of the custom. bodied Fiats from the 60s, like the Fiat 1600S of 1963 and not a Ferrari. I'd say my only complaint with its looks is the too-high beltline which should have been balanced out a bit more.
It looks like a Nissan Altima EV concept to me
I like the exterior, the interior is flatly bad.
It's a slightly prettier ioniq. Terrible as a Ferrari though
I think I've been looking at it too long because it's starting to grow on me! still think it's shameful from the house of ferrari but it'd be pretty cool as a honda or nissan. I'm blaming jony ive.
I think it’s super cool that the aesthetics of the Chevy volt have percolated up to the luxury market
this one got me to genuinely lol
Secret third thing: The front end looks great and I love the color, but everything behind the b-pillar looks too bulky and out of proportion. Those high window sills will make you feel like a kid again (derogatory). Meanwhile the interior looks generic techno-trash and is spiritually beige.
If it was like, the new Acura TSX EV it would be awesome. I don't see Ferrari people being interested, haha. My first reaction was "Oh, so they REALLY don't want to sell EVs"
Too fucking generic and crossovery
I like the rearview, but the oblong pill shape, not a fan. Like the color, and I like the retro feel of the drivers seat, but not the Screen. Also it looks TOO WIDE but most Ferrari do to my eye. I want it to lean more Triumph tr7 than it is.
This would be a controversial but potentially underrated design if it was from, like, Kia. As a Ferrari it’s a disaster, and part of me agrees with the conspiracy that they made it ugly on purpose to not sell them
Building something to fail is usually Harley's trick. Nice to see that the Italians can still learn from good old American ingenuity.
Yeah nah if I paid Ferrari money and got this thing that looks like an audi and a civic had a one night stand I would be super pissed
I'm conflicted. It looks like the most beautiful Toyota Prius. For a car in general, that's probably good. For a Ferrari, that's bad.
Yeah this is how I feel too, it would be a nice looking generic sport EV from a lot of manufacturers but feels off for a Ferrari. I can't quite put what is off into words but the fact that it's it's a Ferrari feels incidental to the design.
it is kinda bad in a good way? like cars dont look like that. that ass end is weird car inside a car. its different but not in an overtly offensive way like the cybertruck. more like a pontiac banshee. kinda oddly styled for the time but still resembling a car proportionally.
I feel like there will be a papal bull telling people to like Luce. As it shares the namesake of the anime Catholic representative.
The exterior is mid, and the tail-lights are 2005 Chevy Impala, but I really like the interior.
Maybe its just me but i feel like all EVs look like they're trying to look like EVE from Wall-E
It's got a couple OK angles and features and a whole lot of bad ones. They should have stuck with Pininfarina instead of going to Jony. Maybe like Guigaro/Italdesign if they wanted to shake things up
What in the world is that interior.
I laughed at the orange one but like the blue one. And my color preferences are usually the opposite of that.
it’s fine
