KaBloom! Gardening Cheat Public Release
Do you have a garden in the Sims for the sheer enjoyment of watering, weeding and waiting for the harvest? If so, this mod is definitely NOT for you! It is intended for players who garden as a means to an end -- such as growing fruit for a fizzy factory, or flowers for perfume. It's also meant for players irritated by the long standing Sims bug where your garden decides to reset itself into dirt piles spontaneously.
I got the suggestion for this mod from one of my Patrons – thanks for the idea!
This mod adds a Cheat menu item named 'Ka-Bloom!' that will instantly (more or less) grow all of your harvestable plants up to the blossoming state, and fill them with harvestables (fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc) to pick. The plants will mature and bloom regardless of whether they are in season or not. The 'Ka-Bloom!' cheat also causes all the wild plants in the neighborhood to come into bloom and bear fruit.
TO USE: Shift-Click on the ground, and select 'Ka-Bloom!'
This lets you get all the flowers blooming at once, which is pretty cool. Or an entire grove of fruit trees, or 10 zillion Soy Plants (if you are really, really into candle making). And if the game throws the 'reset all your plants' bug at you, you can fix it instantly with 'Ka-Bloom!'.
NOTE: The cheat may need to ask the game to spawn a LOT of items at once (all the fruit, flowers, etc). Sometimes, this takes several seconds if you have a very large garden.
Can you use this cheat over and over again? Yes! You can spend all of your time Ka-Blooming, harvesting, then Ka-Blooming again. The only limitation is your attention span!
Does it work with Meatwalls? Yep, works on meatwalls (and other vertical garden plants) as well.
Does it work on Giant Vegetables from CoL? Idk, haven't tried it yet. Those things creep me out...They work a bit differently than other harvestables, so I might need to add some more code to handle those.

Hello, I noticed when I want to remove this mod, that then there is an issue that I can't pick up trash piles from ground or go into animal enclosure... 🤔 Any ideas what can cause it? Or is there any special way how to uninstall it from save file? It is nice mod, but unfortunately it collides with different one I wanted to use...
I tried to replicate that and could not. I removed the Kabloom mod, made an animal enclosure dirty and entered it to clean it, then kicked over the garbage can and picked up the trash from the ground. This mod doesn't leave anything behind like traits, etc. It just sets all the plants to Blooming and tells them to spawn fruit. What was the conflict you ran into? I'm not sure how this could conflict with another mod, given the above, so I'd like to investigate! Thanks for the feedback!
Is this safe for the current patch?
Yes (I just tried it again to double check)
please update soon
Thank you so much for this mod! As a rotational player, this is a life saver! I just wish it could be integrated with Basemental, 'coz although it makes the plants mature but not harvestable. That’s why I rarely plant BM seeds 'coz this doesn’t seem to trigger them hehe

Thank you for the update! This mod is a must have 🫶
Thank you
This mod is such a huge help! I recently ran across a bug where I found out that even my level 10 gardener was not able to revive dead plants any more. Apparently several folks have this issue and no fix has come from EA on it. I was wondering if you would consider including a revive dead plant feature to this mod? Or a bug fix so highly skilled gardeners can revive dead plants again?
Glad to know it's helped! I didn't really look into the reviving dead plants issue, but I'll take a peek at the game's tuning for that!
Thank you so much for this wonderful mod!
Thank you! I wanted to ask if it is possible to make the mushrooms graftable? I end up with soo many of them and have never found any information about this.
Hmm, not sure. I'll look into it. 😀
