First off-Anastasia is NOT DISNEY! I spent nearly 20 years defending her not being a Disney princess and regardless of Disney now owning 20th FOX, they did not create her movie. Yes Disney in the past had dark films, but compared to other companies they were just on the touch of lighter side. (Do hope we get a Black Cauldron react in future.) The beginning of the film is very dark and more depressing than teary eyed sad when you read up on how the children were executed. The czar had it coming sure, but knowing what happened to Anya's sisters and her brother, just heartbreaking. In the Dark of the Night and Toxic Love-from Ferngully, songs so not kid appropriate but it helped with learning to appreciate a great villain song. Be Prepared will forever be in the top 5 greatest of villain songs. You guys 100% have to watch 101 Dalmatians both live and animated versions, Cruella's song is very catchy.
Oooo yesss!!!
Can this be after all these months??? Lol
