Slime’s prediction on VR death cults occurring and severing their now consciousness to fully go into their VR one reminds me of SOMA
Aiden kept bringing the influencer discussion to a money thing, but a person who plays video games for $70k a year is still vastly more privileged than someone who works a normal job for $70k a year. I work front desk at a hotel. I can't 'ban' the boomers that scream directly in my face in person. I can't 'ignore' the schizophrenic walking into my lobby at 3am with a weapon (this has happened). It really doesn't matter if they have upper middle class money or Ludwig money, they still have a safe easy job where they set their own hours and have full control over their clientele. There's no 'hide comment button on a heroin addict' asking to use the restroom so he can shoot up. I don't think bullying influencers is chill at all, but I do think that's maybe the most nothing burger downside to a profession I've ever heard.
The new AI game mods allowing games to overlay each other is another huge AI issue. Reverse engineering games in ways modders/coders thought was either impossible or far from current reach. If AI can do these task in a simple manner then who knows what it can do to every other software ever.
so dirty to caedrel
Of course he gets wet from food is top 5 Nick bars
I think people care way too much about the lives of online personalities and celebs. They need to focus on their own lives, jobs, school, family, etc. If you don't like the person, stop following them or interacting with their content.
Fake shopping website should send you a little treat, like a green tea kitkat, or a timtams
Reindeer is goated food, u should eat renskav
Don’t worry Aiden I didn’t listen or watch the fries episode so I did my part to not get it to 1 million
I agree that you do have to expect that people will be shitty online if you want to have an online job, but I also think it's totally valid to be pissed off about it and vocalize that. People shouldn't act this way, celebrity culture has always been extremely fucked and unreasonable, and I think more people should talk about how shitty it is and stop just hand waiving it as "eh that's just how it has to be man"
Hi, I enjoy the show, still makes me laugh. Sometimes you guys talk about drama like we've all heard, but I'm not online anymore so I'm unaware of the context. Could you maybe be more clear about the happenings sometimes?
I sympahize as someone who isn't online. However, it would slow down the pace/disrupt the flow of conversation. Best recomendation is to either scroll a couple commets or look up the essence of what they are talking about, find a reddit thread, and and skim
Metaverse death cult is sort of the plot for Pantheon
PGE, Sugar-free, Supertf episode where the coach Slime to diamond in val
Idk who this would matter to, but me and both of my sisters haven’t had any socials for over 5 years and we don’t feel the pain that you guys are talking about. I feel like this AI stuff is making a big impact on the internet, and when you’re on the internet a lot it feels dominating. But like, I go to work and I come home and I hang with friends and I don’t feel it. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal because you can always take one more step down into being human. If the internet is just your map and your music, shits lit. Patreon is also probably full of folks like me that only have Patreon. @patreon, don’t turn this app into an infinite scroller, or we’ll find somewhere else to go. Love the show yall, love listening to the chats. From Medicine Hat :)
"If the internet is just your map and your music, shits lit" thats a sick line

the title of trickable entrepreneur attempts to drop meme coin, dies instead, really kept the episode theme all the way to the Indian brain in jars connected to computers making coins
Slime binking SOMA is killing me
I was going to comment this, slime just describing the plot of SOMA
That AI migos thing has been pissing me off for the past week, it is everywhere and I cannot escape it.
Oh hell ya we on the advice show today
Nah, Nick was right, Five Guys fries are the worst. Might as well eat mashed potatoes
They are the worst because they are like something that is good.
It’s so crazy to me that people will be so vocally worried about what news and media is biased, but not think at all about the algorithm that serves that news to them and its goals. “Oh this is from CNN, fake news.” But then they still react to it and argue about it. Telling the algorithm to show them more “fake news” because that’s what they engage with.
Nick having a great nuanced take on creators should be prepared to be shit on while in a public profession while also thinking in & out fries are better than 5 guys truly is the duality of man.
Guy who thinks people are less friendly in Europe than LA
you are misunderstanding the joke completely
