I think the only 0.5 star review I’d ever give to a movie would be Star Wars: the rise of skywalker. What a genuine misunderstanding of what a movie is and what scriptwriting is. I wouldn’t even call it a movie, it’s like a picture book that you point at and go “oh wow!” And that’s it. I’m a life long Star Wars fan so that one also made me dislike Disney Star Wars forever lmao. Andor is basically the only good thing to come out of that slop corp.

@22:10 extremely low ELO. As a restaurant industry vet, I hate this question with a passion. You’re asking the waiter to sell you the most expensive shit because that’s where the money comes from, and also the vast majority of the time the people who ask this question go “oh I don’t like x thing about this” and then order something else entirely. Like cool, we both just wasted our time.

Nick Dropped the fucking ball with that order. I would, obvioulsly, have the bruchetta (for some freshness and sourness) and the seafood platter (for salty freaks who enjoy eating ocean bugs) also you will somehow also get free bread with dips because you are in an italian restaurant. So that's the appetizers done. Then for the mains I'd go for the osso bucco (a very lovely, traditional and tender dish) the aglio e olio (to statisfy the novice eaters who can't handle any taste) the mushroom risotto (even though I detest mushrooms) and the bolognese (to ascertain the general quality of the rastaurant ). For dessert just tiramisu and cannelloni, so we have something for the smooth and crunchy people. And the rest of th groups desires can be met by their individual drink choices.

When I found out Ludwig from Video Games was talking about Marathon I got excited but then you said Kelby plays Marathon I like genuinely died a little, not because Kelby enjoys Marathon, but because now slime can make fun of Kelby AND Marathon :(

Nick, my dude, you've been to Italy. You know that their portions are smaller at traditional Italian places. I think you just thought of "traditional Italian" as being good Italian places in USA, rather than what everyone else seemed to think of, which was a traditional Italian restaurant like they have in Italy.

So I have a long list of food allergies, and I’m a good order for other people, but not for myself. Most food I’ve never tried, but I understand how to cook and The wants that people have when they go to a restaurant. I don’t think I could be a great orderer in most places, but I can say for certain I am an All-Star table orderer in sushi, Thai, and Chinese food. Put me in a Sukiya Japanese restaurant with you and all your friends and the kind of shit me and the waiter talk about would write the next Dracula flow.

I side with Aiden to use the scale correctly. 1 = bad, 2 = okay, 3 = average, 4 = pretty good, 5 = Amazing. It's not just an American thing. The scale's just been screwed.

As someone with Celiac's I am a fantastic orderer and I would in fact go for my gluten free dish, maybe a neutral gluten free shareable app and then gluten filled options for the table. Now, if we have options that are bangers and are gluten free naturally or maybe a light substitution can make it work than there's no reason to not have gluten free for some sharesies. That being said I have gotten sick many times in my life from feeling bad asking for a clarification on an order and getting something that was gluten in it so what the fuck do I know.

Fine dining server for over 8 years now, Nick is bronze elo for ordering, I know its a bit but a couple tips if you're ordering for the table. 1. Figure out if you're doing individual or family style before you get over there. 2. It is completely normal to ask for recommendations, but try to do it during the opening so you have time to think about your choices. 3. If you are going to be the orderer for the table, be prepared to pay for the whole thing or at least know you're splitting evenly beforehand. Any other questions you can ask me though

I think in terms of having a food allergy it can be eye opening because they can’t have certain things so they have alternatives or insight into other options that yourself wouldn’t choose because you can have those certain things. People love almond and oat milk, but we are less likely to even have oat milk if everyone could just drink normal milk, because we wouldn’t need alternatives

I've been trying to watch some of the great films (and also more foreign films) so my sense for 5 stars has been warped recently. It used to be just my favorite movies, but now I've got like 35, so maybe I just have 35 favorites.

As someone who is a server at a movie theater its cringe! I am not in the mood to see socks/feet at work. Now a crime? Almost but no. He did put them in the middle of the seats so people wouldnt trip over them and thats the difference maker. You'd be surprised how many people leave shoes/purses in the way of my feet.

As someone with both a peanut allergy and gluten intolerance, it definitely lowers the item pool. You can still be a great orderer for yourself but its arguably baby mode since there’s only so many options, and its a hard barrier to overcome when ordering for others

The allergies convo is me. Nearly all nuts and all dairy products are anaphylaxis-level allergens. I can easily pick out good options for the group, but I can't eat any of it. I'm stuck to 1-2 "meh" dishes.
