Comment for the after-show: Most Psychic type Pokémon DO have some form of telepathy so that's how they "talk". The best example being Mewtwo, but his psychic abilities are just so much greater like having memory manipulation. And a note on Pikachu "talking" it's basically Pika-speak. According to Bulbapedia it basically boils down to syllables and timing while being based off Japanese. Notable examples are: Pikapi: Satoshi (Ash) PiPi-kachu: Rocket-dan (Team Rocket) Pi-Pikachu: Get da ze! (Used for getting a badge or catching a Pokémon)

This episode really was all over the place, but I definitely get wanting to take a moment and try to give the boys some flexibility as different characters, and show the consequences of their actions. Excited to see the main plotline continue though

I like to think the Coots, Rat, and Cruncher don't actually talk like the main characters, but it's like those shows where from the perspective of the characters who can't talk, it's their own language. But Draggin and G-Man can understand. Like Rugrats or some episodes of Pokémon.

Dave is a master at bringing all this together. The original plotline, the crazy random stuff from the guys as it comes, and little details. Great episode, through all the silliness, the emotional moments still hit too. One of the best episodes.

Oh btw, Dave said "who knows how long Coots been with Stonebeard in the Astral Plane". Didn't SB and Elias been sent to this world as kids? And that's why SB is so disconnected from Gith culture, because he basically didn't grew up in a Creche

I know I've commented this prior, but this show is made by the stories and voices and characters B Dave does for this show. even if this campaign ends, i would love for him to keep going on as the DM in any future series.

it would make more sense for slimes character to be from somewhere like waldane or tinnila i’d assume since i figure those places have more freshwater than saltwater. idk much about frogs but i assume they aren’t saltwater creatures as often. none of this matters though i’m just very invested in the world of this series, dave has done a great job though this is from someone who hasn’t watched a d&d campaign
