Law School - Episode 6 - Devlog #7
Hello everyone,
Last week was actually a good one, despite a busy IRL schedule.
I’m down to the last three scenes of this day: one small one and two big ones. I’m almost done with the small one and should wrap it up today. After that, I’ll get to work on the cutscene I mentioned last week, which I’m hoping to finish around Friday. Then it’s time to tackle the two behemoths left for this day. I’m really excited about the last one in particular, but the other one is going to be fun to work on too, thanks to a few special features it has.
Now for the sour note. The main rig I use to pose scenes might be dying. All my troubleshooting so far points to the CPU. It could still be the GPU or the RAM, but the CPU is the most likely culprit. That sucks, because I don’t have a spare one, and swapping it means taking the AIO off, redoing the thermal paste and putting everything back together. Something I already did on that same computer not so long ago. It feels like I’m always dealing with hardware issues, but the more computers you have, the more likely it is that one of them acts up. Such is life.
Other than that, everything’s good and productivity is solid, even though I couldn’t work at all on Friday or on Sunday afternoon.
Now, let’s talk numbers:
Static renders: 908
Animations: 38
Story content: 13 scenes written (10'055 words)
That’s an extra 167 renders and about 2k words since last week. I knew it was going to be a lighter week since I could only work 5 full days instead of 7, so I’m happy with that. Good news: I don’t have anything planned this week, so I’m hoping to push out more renders and, more importantly, animations.
If I’m not mistaken, I’ve been on static renders for three weeks straight now. It’s been nice, but I need a change of pace. I NEED to animate.
Which brings me to my next point: I like the “technical pacing” of the episode so far. The ratio between cutscenes, animations, LEWDs and plain static scenes feels right. If I can keep that up for the rest of the episode, I think it’ll be a technically solid one.
I’m also happy with how the LI paths are splitting. I’ve only scratched the surface, but scenes where the MC is committed to an LI feel more intimate. There’s more complicity between them, and I love it. Some LIs also show a willingness to get involved in the MC’s story or in other plots, which I’m a big fan of. It does mean shorter playthroughs per path, but I’m making sure the other paths have good replayability with dialogue variations and such. So far, I think it’s working.
I’m looking forward to the other days of this update. The way I see it, each day gets more interesting than the last. Not that the first day is boring, far from it, but based on what happens, things only ramp up from here.

Excited is a understatement, your actually inspiring me to attempt to make my own AVN, im a inspiring writer but normally just write books. Ive played other AVNs like being a dik and intertwined but your AVN character development is off the charts compared to them IMO, you have proven that you dont S*x scenes to make a AVN just a good enough story and you have me hooked man truely. I hope you carry on for a while haha i wanna see the MC graduate from law school with Aurora by his side. Take care mate and keep the good work going
