My Favorite Gameplay Overrides

A Sims 4 override refers to a custom content (CC) file that replaces or modifies existing in-game objects, textures, or features. When a creator makes an override, they are essentially replacing a piece of Maxis-made content with their custom version. This can include things like default eyes, skin textures, or furniture.

For example, if you download a hair override, it may replace one of the base game hairstyles with a custom version. Overrides are different from add-ons or replacements, as they overwrite the original content directly, so only the new version will show up in the game unless you remove the override file.

Be cautious when using multiple overrides, as conflicts can occur if different mods try to replace the same in-game item.
