もうすぐ10月ですね。

秋もすっかり深まってきたというのに、時々まだ蒸し暑い日があって、そんな日は今でもカエルの鳴き声が聞こえてくることがあります。

October is almost here.

Even though autumn is already well underway, we still occasionally get warm and humid days, and on days like that, I can sometimes hear frogs croaking.

地球に何か起こっているのでしょうか？

9月末にカエルの鳴き声だなんて……。

I wonder if something has happened to Earth.

Hearing frogs croaking at the end of September…?

そんなわけで、来月10月のアップロードカードは『ケロロ軍曹』の「日向秋」です。

With that in mind, next month’s October upload card will be "Aki Hinata" from Sgt. Frog.

昨年の最後の日に、今年中に制作するとすでにお伝えしていた「日向秋」ですが、どうやらもうすぐ10月にお披露目できそうです。

I had already announced on the last day of last year that I would create Aki Hinata sometime this year, and it looks like I’ll finally be able to show her to you sometime in October.

ただ、『ケロロ軍曹』のアニメ版に見られる、縦にかなり長い目は、コイカツの仕様上、表情を作った際にかなり不自然に見えてしまうことがあります。

そのため、少し調整を加えて、原作とアニメ版のちょうど中間くらいのスタイルで制作する予定です。

However, the very tall, vertically elongated eyes seen in the anime version of Sgt. Frog can make the expressions look quite strange due to the way Koikatsu works.

So I’m going to make some adjustments and create her in a style somewhere between the original manga and the anime version.

いつも通り、できる限り良いものになるよう頑張って制作しますので、ぜひ楽しみにしていてください。

ところで皆さん、10月3日から『ケロロ軍曹』の新しいTVアニメが放送されることをご存じでしたか？

By the way, did you know that a new Sgt. Frog TV anime will begin airing on October 3rd?

最近公開された劇場版についてはいろいろな意見がありましたが、新しいTVアニメはまた新たに始まる作品ということもあり、令和の時代にケロロがどんな侵略を繰り広げるのかを見ることができるのを、とても楽しみにしています。

There have been quite a few different opinions about the recently released theatrical movie, but since this new TV anime is starting fresh, I’m really looking forward to seeing what Keroro’s invasion will look like in the Reiwa era.
